Pete Davidson is taking a step back in his tattoo removal journey for a very adorable reason.
Despite having tattoos removed for years, Pete Davidson recently got a new face tattoo to celebrate his daughter, Scottie, born in December 2025, with his girlfriend Elsie Hewitt.
While at CinemaCon promoting his new movie, How to Rob a Bank, Pete Davidson showed off a small, new tattoo. The simple black ink design, the word “Scottie” written vertically, is located on the side of his face, just above his ear and below his beard.
And Pete’s newest addition is perfect—considering how much he’s loved fatherhood so far.
Pete recently told People magazine that being a dad is “amazing.” He described it as both tiring and incredibly fulfilling, and emphasized how lucky he feels, especially because Elsie is such a wonderful mother.
Pete Davidson shared that, beyond feeling grateful for his family, he finally understands why parents will do absolutely anything for their children.
He described feeling extremely protective, saying he’d react violently – even beat someone up – if a paparazzo suddenly appeared. He admitted this was strange, because he doesn’t consider himself a confrontational person or a fighter.
I’ve been following Ben since he started dating Elsie back in March 2025, and he recently shared something really sweet. He was talking about his daughter and jokingly said he feels incredibly protective – almost ‘primal,’ he called it, and it was just a funny, endearing thing to say.
It’s a big deal that Pete got a new tattoo for his daughter, especially since he’s already committed to a decade-long process of removing his existing tattoos.

Pete Davidson explained to Variety last year that he’s been removing his tattoos because he wants a fresh start. He used to struggle with drug addiction and felt unhappy with his appearance, believing he needed to hide his body. He feels removing the tattoos is the best path forward for his well-being.
And while the process is worth it for his mental health, he admitted it has been tough.

He described the experience as incredibly painful, comparing it to a severe burn – like laying your arm on a hot grill. He added that it requires significant aftercare and time to recover.
As he put it, “It sucks, I’m not gonna lie.”
