PlayStation Plus Adding 8 More Games in May 2026

PlayStation Plus is adding eight new games to its Game Catalog for Extra and Premium members next week. Currently, the free games for all PS Plus subscribers in May are available, featuring titles like EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols. It’s a good selection this month, particularly if you like action games. If these don’t appeal to you, the upcoming Game Catalog additions might be more to your liking.

I’m so excited! PlayStation is adding a bunch of new games next week on May 19th for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium members. The biggest news is definitely Red Dead Redemption 2 – it’s an amazing open-world western game by Rockstar, and it’s actually coming back to the service after being available before! Besides RDR 2, I’m also really looking forward to checking out Star Wars Outlaws, and it’s cool that Premium members get exclusive access to Time Crisis.

Here’s the full lineup of upcoming games joining PS Plus:

PS Plus Game Catalog

  • Star Wars Outlaws (PS5)
  • Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
  • Bramble: The Mountain King (PS5, PS4)
  • The Thaumaturge (PS5)
  • Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn (PS5)
  • Broken Sword – Shadows of the Templar: Reforged (PS5, PS4)
  • Entoria: The Last Song (PS5)

PS Plus Classics

  • Time Crisis (PS5, PS4)

I’m really excited about the new games coming to PS Plus, but it’s a bit of a bummer to hear that some others are leaving. Sony announced that eight games will be removed on May 19th to make room for the new additions. Honestly, I’m a little sad because some of my favorites are on that list – like Control, Mortal Shell, Sand Land, and a couple of the Dark Pictures Anthology games. If you want to play any of those before they’re gone, you’ve only got about a week left, so you better jump in soon!

Sony hasn’t revealed the free games for PlayStation Plus in June 2026 yet. We expect an announcement around May 27th, so check back with ComicBook.com to find out what games will be added!
