Sony has announced the next PlayStation State of Play will be broadcast on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 2 PM Pacific Time / 5 PM Eastern Time / 11 PM Central European Summer Time. You can watch it live on PlayStation’s YouTube and Twitch channels. For viewers in Japan, the stream will begin on June 3 at 6 AM Japan Standard Time.
The presentation will last over an hour and feature the latest news, updates, and first looks at upcoming PlayStation 5 games. So far, Sony has announced that Marvel’s Wolverine, developed by Insomniac Games, will be the first game showcased.
Marvel’s Wolverine Is Leading the Show
Sony has announced that Insomniac Games will be showcasing more of Marvel’s Wolverine, giving fans a detailed look at its intense combat and revealing new information about the game. Marvel’s Wolverine is scheduled to be released on PlayStation 5 on September 15, 2026.
So far, that’s the only game Sony has confirmed for this State of Play. All other rumors and possibilities are just speculation until PlayStation makes an official announcement.

Sony is teaming up with Alamo Drafthouse to host free watch parties in several US cities, like Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, and Dallas/Fort Worth. They’ll also be held in the San Francisco Bay Area and Raleigh. Tickets are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis at your local Alamo Drafthouse.
