In the game Pragmata, hacking is a key feature, and Diana is the main character who uses it to move the story forward. She can hack both enemies and the surrounding environment. Throughout the game world, called The Cradle, you’ll find Yellow Hacking Nodes that make this process easier. You collect and use these nodes similarly to how you’d equip weapons.
This guide details the locations of all eight yellow Hacking Nodes in The Cradle. It lists where to find them by Sector and Block, and also includes those unlocked through the Stamp Club boards in the various Cabins.
Decode
This device hacks into enemy systems, briefly making them more vulnerable to damage. Hacking the same enemy repeatedly becomes less effective, but linking together multiple hacks of the same type significantly increases the damage output.
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
- Lv. 2 Damage ^
- Lv. 3 Damage ^ ^
Multihack
This ability creates a connection between enemies, letting you attack several at once. While connected, enemies take less damage, but the connection lasts longer. Connecting multiple enemies with the same type of ability will make the effect last even longer.
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
- Lv. 2 Max. Targets ^
- Lv. 3 Max. Targets ^ ^
Freeze
Okay, so I found this hacking node in the game, and it’s pretty cool. Basically, it messes with enemy robots or whatever, freezing them in place for a bit. It’s not a permanent fix, though – if I keep hitting the same enemy with it, it doesn’t work as well. But, if I can chain together a bunch of these nodes, going from one to another, it keeps the effect going for longer. It’s all about timing and finding those nodes!
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
- Lv. 2 Enemy Stun Time ^
- Lv. 3 Enemy Stun Time ^ ^
Confuse
This device disables enemy vision, potentially causing their allies to attack each other. How well it works on robots isn’t consistent. Using it repeatedly on the same enemy makes it less effective, but chaining it with other similar devices will increase the damage caused to those mistakenly targeted.
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
- Lv. 2 Friendly Fire Damage ^
- Lv. 3 Friendly Fire Damage ^ ^
Expose
This ability weakens enemies, causing your next hacking attempt to deal extra damage and make it easier to disrupt them. Using this ability multiple times in a row on the same enemy has a greater effect.
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
- Lv. 2 Critical Damage ^
- Lv. 3 Critical Damage ^ ^
Heat
This hack increases an enemy’s heat buildup, making them overheat quicker. While active, your weapons generate heat faster. Using this hack repeatedly on the same enemy will make it less effective. Linking multiple nodes of this type together doesn’t stack the effect.
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
- Lv. 2 Heat Gauge Buildup ^
- Lv. 3 Heat Gauge Buildup ^ ^
Drain
This device taps into enemy systems to improve Hugh’s suit performance and slightly restore his health. Using several of these devices in a row will increase the amount of health recovered.
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
- Lv. 2 HP Recovery ^
- Lv. 3 HP Recovery ^ ^
Chain
This hacking tool disrupts enemy systems and links together a chain of attacks. Using it repeatedly increases its damage. Connecting multiple tools of the same type makes it even more powerful.
- Lv. 1 Can be equipped at the Tram Terminal
