PS5 Price Increases Start, Live Now at Some Retailers

Sony is raising the price of the PS5 today, and some stores in the UK have already updated their prices to reflect the increase.

So, I’ve been checking around online for PS5 deals, and it looks like GAME and Argos are the first stores I’ve seen actually raising their prices on the console. It’s a bit annoying, but at least I know where not to look right now!

You can now buy a standard PlayStation 5 with a disc drive for £569.99, and the PS Portal handheld is available for £219.99.

So, I’ve been checking Argos, and it looks like only the PS Portal has gotten more expensive at the moment. Thankfully, the PS5 itself is still the same price – which is great news for those of us hoping to snag one!

PS5: $549.99/£479.99 > $649.99/£569.99
PS5 Digital Edition: $499.99/£429.99 > $599.99/£519.99
PS5 Pro: $749.99/£699.99 > $899.99/£789.99
