Many people are expecting Microsoft to announce a new Halo game this week, and rumors suggest it will also be available on PlayStation 5.
When we say ‘this week,’ we could mean as soon as tomorrow, Friday, October 24th. That’s because the official Halo World Championship esports tournament is happening this weekend.
Halo Studios has announced they’ll be making an announcement during the show. Many fans are hoping this will be about a remake of the original Halo: Combat Evolved, as rumors surfaced earlier this month suggesting it’s being developed for PlayStation.
This new report expands on the previous one, both relying on information from Halo insider Rebs Gaming, who supports the community-run grunt.api. According to grunt.api, the rumored Halo remake is expected to launch on PS5 at the same time as other platforms.
Okay, so Rebs Gaming is really sticking to their guns with what they’ve been saying. Luckily, we won’t have to wait too long to find out if they’re right!
Everything is starting to look really good, actually. The Halo World Championship would be a perfect place to make a big announcement like this.
Okay, seriously, is Halo finally coming to PlayStation? I’d love to see Master Chief on my PS5! What do you guys think – let me know in the comments!
