Sabrina Carpenter may be a busy woman, but she freed up her calendar to wow at the 2026 Met Gala.
The Grammy-winning artist supported the “Costume Art” exhibition by attending a May 4th event at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, giving fans another glimpse of her signature style.
Sabrina, 26, embraced the event’s “Fashion Is Art” theme with a stunning Dior dress. The dress was uniquely decorated with strips of celluloid film from the classic Audrey Hepburn movie Sabrina. Stylist Jared Ellner completed the look with detailed beading and a sheer black skirt featuring a high slit, creating a truly memorable ensemble.
Sabrina finished her outfit with a sparkling diamond headpiece and matching chandelier earrings, inspired by the glamour of Old Hollywood.
Sabrina, known for her show-stopping red carpet looks, once again made a statement at the Met Gala. This year, in 2025, she wore a unique bodysuit created by Pharrell Williams for Louis Vuitton, perfectly capturing the gala’s theme, “Tailored for You.”
Sabrina, a huge fan of Pharrell, shared with Vogue that attending his show this year was a dream come true. She had previously told people how much she wanted to go with him, and it actually happened.
Louis Vuitton’s creative director chose a striking burgundy outfit for her: a bodysuit designed like a tuxedo. The look was a playful change of pace, resembling a leotard with a structured corset and a flowing, long train.

Pharrell noticed Sabrina’s small size, and that’s why he suggested she wear a dress without pants to the event.
“He was like, ‘You’re quite short so no pants for you,’” she recalled. “So here we are.”
Sabrina, attending her third Met Gala, jokingly shared a relatable struggle with looking glamorous at the event. She confessed she’s never been able to go to the bathroom while wearing her outfit, and tonight she might finally break that streak.
Honestly, I’m so curious! She said she’s going to show us what the museum bathroom is like, and while she thinks it’s probably just a regular bathroom, I’m really excited to see it for myself. I can’t wait to find out!
