Sandra Bullock’s social media debut is practically magic.
After long resisting Instagram, actress Sandra Bullock apparently joined the platform and immediately used it to playfully tease her “Lost City” co-star, Channing Tatum, in one of her first posts.
After a fan shared quotes from Channing Tatum’s 2024 GQ interview—where he revealed he once bought an entire year’s worth of shirts to skip laundry—Sandra Bullock playfully commented with a winking emoji, simply writing, “Of course you did.”
But the Oscar winner didn’t stop there. In fact, she left comments under multiple friends’ posts.
Sandra commented on a video of Jennifer Aniston styling Jason Bateman’s hair, jokingly asking if she could be next and mentioning she’s aiming for a ‘witchy’ style.
Sandra Bullock, 61, seems to be embracing a magical persona, possibly due to her upcoming movie Practical Magic 2. She recently commented “we’re so back” on a video posted by her co-star, Nicole Kidman, showing the two actresses hugging on set.
Sandra also suggested a close relationship with actress Joey King, playfully commenting on a September photo of the two with the phrase, “My blood. Your blood. Our blood. iykyk,” hinting at a deep connection.
Sandra Bullock, who has two children, Louis, 16, and Laila, 12, didn’t immediately love Instagram. In fact, she recently criticized fake accounts pretending to be her.

She told People magazine that she doesn’t use social media and disapproves of any accounts claiming to be her or connected to her.
She used to be reluctant to use social media, explaining in 2018 to InStyle (as reported by Business Insider) that even a single glass of rosé would make her impulsively call out anything she felt was untrue, saying something like, ‘That’s just not right!’
Sandra clarified that she’s aware of current trends, admitting she often glances at what others are doing online. She jokingly described herself as ‘lazy’ for simply observing things like short, popular videos – ‘like a little clip of a cat on a fan,’ she said.
And Sandra did forecast her future—now present—antics at the time.
She said she was going to start using the platform and playfully tease her friends. She wants to get comfortable with it herself before her kids do, so she can understand how it works and avoid being unprepared.
