Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard starred in the initial Jurassic World trilogy, which proved very successful. Their most recent film, Jurassic World Dominion (2022), brought together the new cast with original Jurassic Park stars like Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum. The franchise continued with Jurassic World Rebirth in 2025, starring Scarlett Johansson, and became another box office success, sparking discussions about a possible sequel.

A follow-up to Jurassic World Rebirth is officially in the works, according to a new report from Deadline. Currently, no release date or other details have been announced. The previous film starred Johansson, Jonathan Bailey of Bridgerton, and Mahershala Ali, who is slated to appear in the upcoming Blade movie. Although Jurassic World Rebirth (released in 2025) earned $869 million in theaters – making it the lowest-grossing film in the Jurassic World series, and the only one not to reach $1 billion – its success made a sequel a logical next step, and now it’s happening.
