It seems The Orville might not be over yet. Seth MacFarlane, who created and stars in the show, recently shared some news about its future while promoting the new season of Ted.
Seth MacFarlane confirmed that Season 4 has already been written, but production will depend on finding the time to make it happen.
MacFarlane explained the delay wasn’t due to the scripts themselves, which are finished. He admitted he was the bottleneck, saying he needs to prioritize the project amidst his other commitments. Once he can focus on it, they’ll be able to start quickly.
Seth MacFarlane is always working on many different things. Maybe finishing one project will give him more free time?
