Tatiana Maslany, who played She-Hulk, recently discussed the possibility of her character returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It’s been four years since her debut in the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, and she hasn’t appeared in any Marvel projects since. Despite Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum stating the show performed very well (according to The Escape Pod), there are no plans for a second season. Maslany’s She-Hulk also isn’t currently slated to appear in the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars movies.
Tatiana Maslany recently discussed with Radio Times the possibility of reprising her role as She-Hulk in future Marvel projects. Given the mixed reactions to She-Hulk: Attorney at Law – including both legitimate criticism and negative review-bombing – it’s understandable why the question came up. Maslany also publicly supported a call to boycott Disney after Jimmy Kimmel was briefly suspended last September (according to Deadline), which led to some speculation about her current standing with the company.
Luckily, the actress who played She-Hulk is open to returning to the role. She told Radio Times that the character feels different from the direction the studio is currently taking with its projects. She stressed how much she loves playing She-Hulk and appreciated the work of creator Jessica Gao, but also said any return would need to fit well within the broader Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I’m a big fan of She-Hulk, and I really appreciated the work Jessica Gao did on the show. It felt true to the original comics. If there’s ever a reason for her to return, I wouldn’t be surprised if fans found out about it before I did – I don’t have any inside information!
Many Marvel actors have expressed similar feelings, which is exciting for fans of Tatiana Maslany’s She-Hulk. Following Kevin Feige’s recent statements, it appears She-Hulk may return in future projects. She’s just one of several MCU characters fans have been hoping to see again.
She-Hulk Is One of Several MCU Characters Overdue for a Return

Several Marvel Cinematic Universe characters introduced after the Infinity Saga need to reappear, and She-Hulk is a prime example. Tatiana Maslany brings a lot of fun and personality to the role, making She-Hulk a strong candidate for a future Avengers film. Her connection with Matt Murdock in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law also creates an opportunity for her to appear in Daredevil: Born Again, though that hasn’t happened yet.
I’m really hoping we see some characters from the 2022 Disney+ shows return! Moon Knight, played by Oscar Isaac, feels like he’s been forgotten, and while Iman Vellani is reprising her role as Ms. Marvel in The Marvels and possibly Avengers: Doomsday, she doesn’t have a huge part yet. It feels like Marvel is having a hard time bringing those streaming series characters into the main movies, and it would be so disappointing if all those fantastic actors and characters just disappeared.
