Shirtless Tim McGraw Will Make You Do a Double Take

Tim McGrawis looking like a real good man.

The 59-year-old showed off his physique in a recent shirtless photo, posing with his brothers Mark and Matthew McGraw.

He shared a photo from May 22nd of himself and his brothers, taken after a workout in the rain, with the caption, “My brothers and me!”

Tim’s incredible physique quickly got people talking online. One follower commented that he looked better in his 60s than they did in their 20s, and another simply called him “jacked” with a series of muscle emojis.

It’s not the first time Tim McGraw, who’s been married to Faith Hill for 29 years, has surprised people with a new look. Last July, he shocked onlookers in Nashville when he traded his famous cowboy hats for a completely shaved head.

Although Tim recently shared a photo showing his active lifestyle, he previously revealed that health problems almost caused him to stop making music.

During an October 2025 concert at the Yaamava’ Theater in Highland, California, he revealed he’d undergone four back surgeries and both knees had been replaced in recent years. He also shared that his wife has been dealing with a series of health issues, including five neck surgeries and a couple on her hands.

Before his last back surgery this year, the artist behind “Real Good Man” was really struggling and considering stopping his career. He didn’t want to give up, but he wasn’t sure things would improve.

Tim, 58, appears to be doing much better these days. He’s back to his rigorous workout schedule, which is great news for him and his daughters – Gracie, 28, Maggie, 27, and Audrey, 24 – who he shares with Faith.

Even Ryan Seacrest commented on how muscular he’s become, telling him at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in September 2025, “I need to find out what you’re doing to work out!”

Okay, so Tammy Slaton is, like, amazing on 1,000-Lb. Sisters, but honestly, she’s so much more than just ‘the girl from that show’! She’s always hinted she wanted to be known for herself, not just that label, and I totally get it. She deserves to be recognized for who she is, not just what show she’s on, you know?

Let me tell you, transforming your life is possible! I’ve lost around 500 pounds – it’s incredible to say! I used to weigh over 700 pounds, but today, I’m down to 238. It’s been an amazing journey, and I’m so proud of how far I’ve come.

She had weight-loss surgery in 2022, and her doctor believes it was the best decision for her health.

In October 2024, Dr. Eric Smith told People magazine that Tammy has been consistently dedicated to making lasting, healthy changes to get the most out of her surgery. He explained that he’s stressed the value of small, everyday adjustments to help her continue to improve and maintain her health in the long run, and that she’s fully committed to her wellness journey.

The artist, who is 6’1”, shared that he had to completely change his approach to food to achieve his goals. In an October 2024 interview on the On Purpose With Jay Shetty podcast, he explained his belief that there’s a strong link between obesity and mental wellbeing. He acknowledged that it’s easy for people to say ‘just eat less and exercise more,’ but admitted he wished he could have viewed food that simply.

Jelly Roll acknowledged that losing weight was still a major challenge, but he was happy to see his new, healthier habits were starting to make a difference.

He explained that he’s fully committed to improving himself, working hard and taking care of his health. He’s focusing on staying hydrated, using cold water immersion, and maintaining a healthy diet, and feels he’s making good progress.

Al Roker wasn’t kidding around with the title of his cookbook Recipes to Live By.

Okay, seriously, I’m obsessed with Al Roker! After losing a hundred pounds, the man is a machine! He doesn’t just talk about being healthy, he lives it. Every single day he’s hitting at least 10,000 steps – I checked! – and he’s so careful about what he eats, plus he always manages to squeeze in some kind of workout. It’s amazing, honestly. He’s such an inspiration!

“I always say that doing something is better than doing nothing at all,” he explained in an interview with People magazine in June 2025. “While some people aim for things like marathons or weightlifting competitions, most just want to be fit enough to enjoy life more.”

Al Roker had gastric bypass surgery in 2002 as a starting point for getting in shape, but he emphasizes that there’s no quick or easy fix.

Surgery is “not the end,” he advised. “You’re still going to have to put in the work.”

Former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, previously famous for the “tush push” play, has recently been gaining attention for his impressive physique.

The former NFL player was always physically fit throughout his 13-year career, but he’s currently about 25 pounds lighter than his playing weight. He recently shared at a golf tournament in Philadelphia that he now weighs around 270 pounds, down from his 295-pound playing weight.

Kelce shared that he’s aiming to stay in shape—around 250 to 260 pounds—after he retires from football. He told GQ in June 2024 that he wants to maintain a strong build without needing to have extremely defined abs, and still feel good about his physique.

For the father of four daughters, whose wife is Kylie Kelce, being able to keep up with his children was his biggest priority.

At 277 pounds, he said he’s already feeling relief in his back and knees, and hopes losing another 20 pounds will make it even easier to play with his kids.

It turns out Christopher Schwarzenegger is a chip off the ol’ muscly block.

The youngest child of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver quietly lost 30 pounds, but he’s now returning to a more active life.

He explained at the first Beacher Vitality Happy & Healthy Summit in May 2025 that achieving his results wasn’t quick, and involved a lot of experimentation. He said simply cutting out bread had a significant impact, but even now, when he compares old and new photos, he doesn’t feel like he’s fully reached his goal.

Meanwhile, Christopher did not let a certain seven-time Mr. Olympia in on his plan.

Dad Arnold shared with The Times in June 2025 that he would never directly tell his son he was overweight. Instead, they gradually incorporated healthy foods into his diet and encouraged him to go to the gym. Eventually, his son independently decided he wanted to get in shape, and he succeeded. Arnold expressed how pleased he was with his son’s self-discipline and motivation, adding that he always believed the change would have to come from within – and it did.

To Metz, aging gracefully means “staying strong and flexible,” so she tries to be active every day.

John Goodman was known for his large size when he played Dan Conner on the show Roseanne in the 1990s – he once joked to David Letterman that he weighed close to 400 pounds. However, by the time The Conners began in 2018, the character, and Goodman himself, had made some healthier changes.

In 2007, Goodman stopped drinking, which marked the beginning of his journey to a healthier lifestyle. He enjoyed staying active through boxing and taking his dogs for walks.

In 2010, he told People magazine that he was working hard to get in shape, but staying calm about it. He’d lost around 100 pounds by exercising six days a week and eliminating sugar from his diet.

Overall, the 6-foot-2 actor has lost about 200 pounds since he was at his peak weight.

In a 2016 interview with ABC News, Goodman explained he simply grew weary of his own image. “You reach a point where you don’t even want to look at yourself when you’re shaving,” he said, adding that it can become a troubling situation.

Oprah Winfrey has been sharing the highs and lows of her weight loss journey for decades.

Whether it was famously squeezing into skinny jeans and dramatically rolling out 67 pounds of fat on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1988, or investing in WeightWatchers in 2015, Oprah has consistently used her influence to promote discussions about weight and wellness.

Addressing a current topic of discussion, Oprah Winfrey shared in March 2024 during her special, Shame, Blame and the Weight Loss Revolution, that she was using medication in addition to eating smaller meals and exercising to manage her weight.

“It’s not just one thing,” she said of her secret to staying fit, “it’s multiple things.”

Winfrey said the purpose of the special was to reduce the shame and judgment surrounding weight, encouraging people to stop criticizing others—and themselves—for their weight or weight loss choices.

Lizzo simply wanted to feel better from head to toe.

In a May 2023 TikTok video, the singer explained that working out isn’t about changing her body, but about improving her mental well-being. She shared that exercise helps her feel better about herself and overcome feelings of shame and self-disgust.

In a TikTok video from January 2025, she shared that she was working on losing weight to improve her overall health and become her best self.

Lizzo explained that even after losing weight, she won’t be considered traditionally ‘thin,’ and will likely still be categorized as morbidly obese according to the BMI scale. She anticipates some people online will continue to comment on her body, but ultimately, her happiness is what matters most.

Just a moment later, the video cut to Lizzo happily announcing that she’d reduced her body fat by 16 percent and lowered her BMI by 10.5 points.

She finished with a hopeful message: you’re capable of achieving anything you truly focus on. “And now,” she said, “it’s time to start thinking about what’s next.”
