Simone Johnson Confirms Romance With Wrestler Tatyanna Dumas

Simone Johnson is ready to rumble with this romance. 

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s oldest daughter and wrestler Tatyanna Dumas shared a glimpse of their loving relationship with their followers on Instagram.

From the very beginning to memories that will last forever, that’s what we’ve shared,” the pair wrote in an Instagram video caption on December 7th.

The video, set to Charli XCX’s song “Everything is Romantic,” shows Simone, 24, and Tatyanna, 26, enjoying time together – at the beach, over dinner, while traveling, and sharing kisses. The couple highlighted the song’s romantic theme, writing, “Fall in love, again and again.”

Simone and Tatyanna started a shared Instagram account in early November, describing themselves as “Two souls. One story. Exploring life like it’s a main event.” On the account, Simone (who wrestles as Ava Raine) and Tatyanna share glimpses into their wrestling careers and travels around the world with their fans.

This happened soon after Simone, whose mother is Dwayne’s former partner Dany Garcia, and Tatyanna appeared with the actor at the premiere of his movie, The Smashing Machine, in September.

Coming from a long line of wrestlers—his family has been involved for four generations—Dwayne Johnson was thrilled his daughter wanted to follow in their footsteps, but he also recognized she was forging her own path.

Saying ‘follow in my footsteps’ feels like a tired cliché,” the 53-year-old explained on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2020. “She really wants to be original and make her own way, and that’s really important to her.”

And he’s incredibly impressed by what she’s been able to achieve. 

He was amazed, pointing out that Simone had been diligently working hard without much public attention before joining WWE NXT in 2022. He expressed how proud he was of her perseverance.
