Okay, so I just heard that SLEEP AWAKE, this really trippy first-person horror game, is coming out on December 2nd! It’s hitting PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam, which is awesome. Blumhouse Games is publishing it, and the developers are EYES OUT – I’m definitely checking this one out when it drops.
Here is an overview of the game, via Blumhouse Games:
About
SLEEP AWAKE is a deeply unsettling and immersive horror game played from a first-person perspective. It delves into the strange and frightening space between being asleep and being dead.
The last city on Earth is gripped by a growing panic. Its citizens, unable to sleep, are desperately trying dangerous experiments to avoid “The HUSH” – a mysterious phenomenon where people simply vanish when they fall asleep.
As Katja, you’ll struggle to stay awake while facing dangerous followers of bizarre death cults. Explore a strange world, solve its puzzles, and evade these cults to overcome a terrifying past.
Created by Cory Davis, known for his work on Spec Ops: The Line, and Robin Finck of Nine Inch Nails, SLEEP AWAKE is an experience that mixes live-action video with mind-bending visuals, making it hard to tell what’s real and what isn’t.
