New Solo Leveling Update Now Available, Xbox Series X|S Version Coming Fall 2026

The game Solo Leveling: Arise Overdrive launched on PC through Steam and Xbox PC on November 24, 2025. It’s the first game in the series specifically designed for consoles, and is based on the 2024 anime created by Crunchyroll, A-1 Pictures, and the original series author, Chugong.

The popular saying goes that tough experiences make you stronger, but that wasn’t true for Sung Jinwoo, who was already the world’s weakest hunter. After a devastating encounter with monsters in a dangerous dungeon, Jinwoo unexpectedly gained a unique System – a program visible only to him – that’s helping him rapidly improve his abilities. Now, he’s determined to uncover the mysteries behind his newfound powers and the origins of the dungeon where it all began.

Solo Leveling: Arise is the first game in the series based on the popular web novel and anime. It’s a free-to-play action RPG available on mobile and PC, where players collect characters – both new and familiar – through a gacha system. While both Arise and Arise Overdrive let fans experience scenes from the Crunchyroll anime, Arise Overdrive offers a more traditional gaming experience, complete with new multiplayer features.

Netmarble, the company behind games like Arise and Arise Overdrive, is creating a new game based on the popular manhwa. This action role-playing game will focus on the “Monarchs War Arc” and is scheduled to launch in 2026. The game will expand on this well-known story with details not previously revealed in the original manhwa.

A new trailer was released by A-1 Pictures, giving fans a first look at the highly anticipated sequel to Solo Leveling: Arise from the Shadow, which concluded in March 2025.

Despite being a popular title, Solo Leveling wasn’t nominated for Anime of the Year at the upcoming 2026 Crunchyroll Anime Awards.

You can watch Seasons 1 and 2 of Solo Leveling on Crunchyroll, with the original Japanese audio and an English dub featuring Aleks Le as the voice of Sung Jinwoo.
