The comic series Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord has unexpectedly made Ahsoka Tano a stronger Jedi, even though she hasn’t been actively fighting. While the first season featured a significant Star Wars character appearance, it wasn’t Ahsoka. At this point in the Star Wars story, Ahsoka was still in hiding following the events of Order 66.
The second season of Ahsoka will follow the Jedi as she navigates the New Republic, years after the events of Maul – Shadow Lord. While Ahsoka wasn’t involved in that earlier story, the new season will further develop her character. Throughout her appearances in various Star Wars projects, Ahsoka has battled multiple Inquisitors, and this trend will likely continue.
Ahsoka Tano has consistently challenged the Empire, facing off against enemies like the Fifth Brother and Seventh Sister from Star Wars Rebels, and even battling Darth Vader himself. Two Inquisitors who directly felt her resistance were Marrok and the Eleventh Brother, both prominent villains in the Maul – Shadow Lord story.
I’ve always been amazed by Ahsoka! She took down both Marrok and the Eleventh Brother in the stories that happened after the events of Maul – Shadow Lord. Honestly, it’s moments like those that really prove she’s one of the most powerful Jedi ever!
Marrok & The Eleventh Brother Continue To Be Formidable Threats In Maul – Shadow Lord
A key reason Ahsoka Tano is considered one of the most powerful Jedi in Star Wars is the strength of her opponents, Marrok and the Eleventh Brother, in Maul – Shadow Lord. Though appearing later in the series, this duo quickly established themselves as formidable threats, consistently demonstrating their power, particularly when easily defeating characters without Force abilities like Rylee and Brander Lawson.
Marrok and the Eleventh Brother consistently demonstrated their strength, even when battling skilled Jedi like Daki and Devon, or formidable former Sith such as Maul. Throughout the series, including episodes 9 and 10 of Maul – Shadow Lord, they never lost a direct confrontation with the main characters, although they weren’t able to capture them.
In both encounters, Marrok and the Eleventh Brother bravely fought against Maul, Devon, and Daki. They consistently put up a strong defense, creating challenging situations for their opponents. Marrok wasn’t truly defeated until Daki used the Force to push him off a bridge, and the Eleventh Brother managed to hold his ground against Maul and Devon until Darth Vader arrived.
While later Star Wars stories ended the lives of characters like Marrok and the Eleventh Brother, tales such as Maul – Shadow Lord actually enhance Ahsoka’s strength, rather than diminishing the Inquisitors’ impact.
Ahsoka Is Continually Proven As One Of Star Wars’ Most Powerful Jedi
The reason Ahsoka seems stronger than the Inquisitors in Star Wars isn’t that they’re weak, but because she consistently defeats them with relative ease. The Inquisitors, like Maul and other skilled fighters, are clearly powerful and capable of challenging even experienced Jedi who survived Order 66. However, Ahsoka demonstrates a clear superiority in combat ability.
Ahsoka quickly defeated the Eleventh Brother in Tales of the Jedi with just a few powerful strikes. Marrok presented a slightly bigger challenge, appearing in four episodes of Ahsoka season 1, but Ahsoka still beat him after a short series of fights. Considering the power demonstrated in Maul – Shadow Lord, these victories are quite impressive.
Ahsoka Tano was trained by Anakin Skywalker, the ‘Chosen One,’ making her a remarkably powerful Jedi. She’s consistently shown to be able to easily overcome even formidable opponents like the Inquisitors. Her strength is further demonstrated in other Star Wars stories, such as Star Wars Rebels, where she even fought Darth Vader. Aside from Obi-Wan Kenobi and Luke Skywalker, Ahsoka is one of the few characters in the Star Wars universe to defeat Darth Vader.
Whether it’s in Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord or any other story, it’s clear that Ahsoka Tano is among the most powerful Jedi in the entire Star Wars saga.
