Subnautica 2 launches in Early Access on May 14

The highly anticipated game, Subnautica 2, will be available in Early Access on May 14th for players on Xbox Series and PC. You can find it on Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store, starting at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time / 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time. The game will cost $29.99, but will also be included with Xbox Game Pass. Unknown Worlds Entertainment is the developer behind the game.

Subnautica 2 is the highly anticipated sequel to Subnautica, an underwater adventure game where you’ll explore a brand-new alien planet and try to survive. It’s being created by the same team at Unknown Worlds.

If war has forced you to leave your home, Alterra offers a fresh start. However, during the journey on the colony ship CICADA, things go wrong. The ship’s artificial intelligence demands the mission proceed, leaving you stranded with little hope. Now, you must fight to survive, as the fate of humanity on this new planet rests with you.

You can choose from four pre-designed characters, with more characters and customization options coming throughout Early Access.
