
The official trailer for The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping is here, giving fans a detailed preview of the new prequel film. The movie, based on Suzanne Collins’ book, goes back in time to the 50th Hunger Games and shows how Haymitch Abernathy – who later mentored Katniss Everdeen – competed in the arena.
The initial trailer centers on Joseph Zada’s portrayal of Haymitch Abernathy, showing his journey from being chosen as a tribute in District 12 to competing in the Quarter Quell. It also introduces viewers to the actors playing familiar characters like Coriolanus Snow (Ralph Fiennes), Plutarch Heavensbee (Jesse Plemons), and Effie Trinket (Elle Fanning), as well as a glimpse of his opponents.
