As a huge movie fan, I first noticed Taylor Sheridan with films like Sicario and Hell or High Water – they were fantastic and really got him noticed. But honestly, it was Yellowstone that really made him a household name, starting back in 2018. Since then, he’s created this whole universe of shows – Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Landman, and now The Madison which just came out last month and is, in my opinion, his best work yet. He’s proven he’s not just a great filmmaker, but a powerhouse on television too!
Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell star in The Madison, which quickly became Taylor Sheridan’s most popular premiere, attracting eight million viewers worldwide. Paramount+ had strong confidence in the show, having already filmed all of Season 2. Demonstrating their continued commitment to Sheridan, the streaming service announced today that The Madison has been renewed for a third season.
Paramount+ hasn’t announced when Season 2 will be released, so we don’t know when filming for Season 3 will begin. But while we wait for more of The Madison, there are still plenty of other shows by Taylor Sheridan to enjoy on the streaming service.
