This animated series, which presents a fresh take on the Spider-Man story within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, was a huge success with a 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. While fans wait for Season 2, Abram Books is releasing The Art of Marvel Animation’s Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, a must-have book for fans of the show.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is a Delightful Marvel Animation

The animated series Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is a standout Marvel show, largely thanks to its surprising supporting characters. This version of Spider-Man exists outside the main Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline – Peter attends a different school and doesn’t participate in the events of Civil War. Instead of being mentored by Tony Stark, he’s guided by Norman Osborn and becomes close friends with his son, Harry, hinting at a new Green Goblin appearing in the series. He also befriends Harry’s friend, Nico Minoru, who fans will recognize from the Runaways comics and TV show.

The upcoming art book will likely showcase how all the beloved characters were created and evolved.
