After a lot of anticipation, Rebel Wolves has finally shared some exciting news about The Blood of Dawnwalker. They showcased the game’s open world and what players can do in it, and also announced the release date: September 3rd. Plus, they’ve revealed the PC specifications needed to play the game.
Okay, so I’ve been looking into the system requirements, and it seems like 16GB of RAM and 60GB of free space on an SSD are absolutely essential – you need those. If you’re hoping to run the game at 1080p with 30 frames per second on the lowest settings, you’ll need at least an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700K, paired with an Nvidia RTX 3050 or GTX 1070, an AMD RX Vega 56, or an Intel Arc A580. But if you want to play at 1080p with 60 FPS on High settings, you’re looking at needing a Core i5-13600 or Ryzen 9 7900X, and either an RTX 5060 or an RX 6800 XT. It’s a pretty demanding game, but hopefully this helps people figure out what they need!
To play at 1440p with a high frame rate, you’ll need a similar processor to what’s needed for 1080p, but a more powerful graphics card like the RTX 4070 Ti or RX 7800 XT. For the highest graphics settings, a Core i5-13600K or Ryzen 9 7950X is recommended. If you want to play at 1440p with 60 frames per second, you’ll need at least an RTX 4080 or RX 7900 XTX. And for 4K gaming at 60 FPS, you’ll need a top-of-the-line RTX 5090.
If the performance seems demanding, keep in mind these results were achieved without using any performance-boosting features. Luckily, Nvidia DLSS and AMD FSR will be available when the game releases, offering improvements for players with less powerful computers.
