I’m so excited! NIS America just announced that The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero and Trails to Azure are coming to PlayStation 5 and the new Switch this fall! You’ll be able to grab each game digitally on its own, or if you’re like me and want the whole experience, you can get them both as a set. I’ve been waiting for these for ages!
The game will run better on PlayStation 5 and the new Switch 2, offering sharper graphics with 4K resolution and smoother gameplay at 120 frames per second. The Switch 2 version will also allow players to use a mouse.
Here is an overview of each game, via NIS America:
The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero
About
Return to the city of Crossbell in this latest installment of The Legend of Heroes! Caught between the powerful Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard, Crossbell has flourished into a wealthy and important economic hub.
Lloyd Bannings returns to his hometown after three years to follow in his brother’s footsteps and become a police officer. However, instead of joining a standard unit, he’s assigned to the newly formed Special Support Section, which deals with unusual tasks and small requests. There, he meets his colleagues: Elie MacDowell, the mayor’s granddaughter; Randy Orlando, a former soldier with a reputation for romance; and Tio Plato, a remarkably talented young tech expert.

They have no idea that Crossbell is about to become the center of a major conflict that will decide its fate.
