A fresh movie version of The Magic Faraway Tree will be released in UK cinemas later this month, and TopMob has a special first look at how it was made.
This movie is based on the beloved children’s book by Enid Blyton. It tells the story of Polly and Tim, played by Claire Foy and Andrew Garfield, and their children as they relocate to the countryside. There, they discover a hidden, magical world inside a special tree.
The new clip offers a sneak peek at the family’s upcoming adventures and introduces some of the movie’s vibrant supporting characters, like Nicola Coughlan (from Bridgerton) who plays the woodland fairy Silky.
In a recent clip, Foy described the film as a story about a family embarking on an amazing journey. Garfield added that it’s a heartwarming and magical film with appeal for everyone in the family.
Rebecca Ferguson, who portrays the school’s villain, says the project is both thrilling and humorous.

The cast also features Jessica Gunning, known for her role in ‘Baby Reindeer,’ as Dame Washalot. Nonso Anozie (‘Sweet Tooth’) and Dustin Demri-Burns (‘Slow Horses’) will play Moonface and Saucepan Man, respectively.
Joining the cast are acclaimed actors Sir Lenny Henry, Sir Michael Palin, and Sir Simon Russell Beale. They will play the roles of three wise, magical figures originating from a place called the Land of Know-Alls.
Mark Heap, known for his role in ‘Can You Keep a Secret?’, and Oliver Chris, who starred in ‘My Lady Jane’, complete the impressive cast.
