Things You Should Have Done creator Lucia Keskin talks ADHD medication, old comedies and dark humour

You’ve come a long way, from becoming popular on YouTube to now being nominated for a Bafta! How are you feeling about everything?

I’m not used to going out or doing things like this, so I’m okay with taking things slow. I also recently started taking medication for ADHD, which might be affecting how I feel.

And how is that?

It hasn’t made a difference yet, as finding the right dosage takes time, but I’m hopeful it will help me concentrate. I have a lot of trouble focusing – it takes me a long time to get my thoughts down on paper.

There’s been a lot of discussion about younger people being shocked by how some older comedies, like the Carry On series, haven’t aged well in terms of political correctness. What are your thoughts on these films?
