As Fred Durst once crooned, “Give me something to break!”
And that’s the subject of this upcoming PS5 game, Table Flip Simulator, due out on 21st May.
This game is a physics-based puzzle where you relieve stress by, well, letting off steam – and honestly, it feels pretty necessary given everything going on these days. Seeing the news can make anyone want to vent their frustrations, just like the urge to smash things!
This feels similar to the classic Crash mode in the Burnout series, but with more realistic situations. The game apparently involves things like ‘surviving a class of high school students’ – a scenario that would definitely stress anyone out!
We believe this game is heavily inspired by the classic Taito arcade game, Cho Chabudai Gaeshi. That game famously featured a real Japanese tea table in its cabinet that players could actually flip over.
It’s disappointing that Table Flip Simulator’s graphics look a bit like those in Roblox and lack the unique style of Cho Chabudai Gaeshi.
PM Studios, the publisher, missed a trick by not creating a physical tabletop accessory for the PS5. Many fans, including us, would have happily paid a premium price for one.
