Digital Extremes, the studio behind Warframe, revealed that their upcoming major content expansion for the third-person shooter is scheduled to release for free on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 towards the end of 2025. This update is known as “The Old Peace.” You can catch a glimpse of it in the trailer above.
Over a span of 12 years with unwavering support, Warframe, initially released as a PS4 launch title, expanded significantly in terms of scale, reputation, and player base. The developers claim to have amassed over 85 million players, and the annual celebration of the game, TennoCon, recently celebrated its 10th anniversary during the past weekend.
In a public statement, creative director Rebecca Ford commended the Warframe community for their decade-long backing of the festival. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to host TennoCon and connect with players from various parts of the globe, sharing new updates, amusing incidents, and joyfully celebrating the universe of Warframe. The 10th edition of TennoCon has been a memorable, profound experience.
Alongside The Old Peace, there’s an accompanying tale known as The Devil’s Triad, a fresh adversary group, and plenty of additional content. For further details, check out the provided link.
