Recently, the theme park has faced some controversy regarding cosplay outfits worn by visitors. Universal Studios Japan is gearing up for a major event in 2026, bringing the popular anime The Apothecary Diaries to life! Starting in January, guests can enjoy a special attraction called “The Apothecary Diaries Mystery Walk: A Dose of Deception,” complete with unique food and merchandise. Universal promises a year full of immersive experiences, saying it will be bigger than anything fans have seen before. The attraction itself is a mystery that visitors can help solve alongside the main characters, Maomao and Jinshi, using an investigation booklet. Those who complete the mystery will even receive a special message from Maomao and Jinshi! With a third season of the anime and a movie planned for next year, 2026 is set to be a huge year for The Apothecary Diaries and its beloved characters.
