I’m excited to see that Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun is returning for a new season next year! They just released the first trailer and a new poster. Honestly, this anime has been a real surprise hit over the last few years. It’s based on a manga by Osamu Nishi – you might know him as one of the creators of Ichi the Witch – and it’s been incredibly popular in Weekly Shonen Champion. The anime adaptation has been just as successful, though it’s been a while since we’ve seen a new season.
The anime series Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun finished its third season in 2023, and fans were happy to hear a fourth season was confirmed in 2024. The new season will arrive next Spring, and it looks like it will focus on Purson Soi, a character who was previously absent. Crunchyroll released a trailer and poster at the CCXP Brazil event this weekend, giving fans a sneak peek at what’s to come.
What to Know for Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun Season 4
Season 4 of Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun is planned to premiere in April 2026. While an exact release date hasn’t been announced yet, Crunchyroll will be the only streaming service offering the new episodes outside of Japan. This includes access for viewers in North and South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, India, and other regions. You can also watch the first three seasons on Crunchyroll.
The upcoming season will cover the Music Festival storyline, which will heavily feature a mysterious demon student who hasn’t been fully introduced in the anime yet. Although he’s been in Iruma-kun’s class all along—even appearing briefly in previous opening and ending credits—this arc will finally give him a proper introduction and explain his long absence. It turns out he’s been completely invisible this whole time.
What’s So Special About Iruma-kun?

Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun is a really interesting action series. It’s about a human boy who ends up living in the demon world after being sold by his parents, but it’s not just about intense demonic battles. While there are exciting action scenes that show Iruma growing stronger, the show mainly focuses on his everyday school life and friendships, even though he’s in a crazy and chaotic world.
These unlikely demon students started at the very bottom, but over three seasons, they’ve made incredible progress. Now, as they face new challenges at the upcoming Music Festival, you won’t want to miss what happens next!
