What is in Love Island 2026 star Ellie’s bag? Robyn, Ope and Victoria reveal all – and talk Yasmin’s love triangle and All Stars

Love Island has been on TV for three weeks now, and already three contestants have left the villa after being eliminated from the show.

Robyn Langton, 21, from Liverpool, initially connected with George Knight, but he left the villa for personal reasons, leaving her single. When two new contestants arrived and coupled up with others, Robyn received a text message informing her that she had been eliminated from the show.

Ope Sowande and Victoria Onanusi were the next contestants voted off the show after being identified as the couple with the least romantic connection.

Are they still upset with each other? Would they ever go back on Love Island? And what exactly is Ellie always carrying around in her bags?

TopMob spoke with Robyn, Ope, and Victoria after they returned to the UK about their experiences on Love Island. They also shared their opinions on how the different couples were doing.

We’ve got to know, what is in Ellie’s bags?

I’m so surprised by the response to the drama surrounding Ellie’s bags! And here’s a little secret: the ‘Made by Mitchell’ bag she had when I left the villa was actually my makeup bag. I have no idea why she was holding it, but she’s clearly enjoying the bags!

Honestly, all I’ve spotted inside her bags so far is a lip gloss and a lipstick. It’s a bit of a mystery why she’s even carrying them around, but she looks amazing doing it, so who cares, right?

So, you were starting to build relationships with Angelista and Victoria. Thinking about it now, do you wish you’d acted differently during that night out with the guys?

Looking back, I definitely wish I’d stood my ground a little more and allowed myself to really get to know Victoria. Being in that house was so incredibly intense, and when she reacted so strongly, calling me awful, it was tough. You’re living with these people, and your first instinct is to smooth things over. I think I fell into that trap, quickly apologizing to Victoria, hoping to make peace. Honestly, yeah, I do regret not sticking up for myself a bit more.

Victoria, you and Sam seemed to be connecting before the show ended. If he doesn’t find a romantic connection with anyone else in the villa, would you be open to exploring a relationship with him after the show?

Yes, Sam and I were getting to know each other after our date, and I was actually quite surprised by how it went.

You and Sam were good friends, and now Victoria has been eliminated from the show. Are you hoping a new contestant will arrive to potentially connect with him?

Robyn wholeheartedly believes this person deserves everything good in life. She describes him as a wonderful and respectful individual, and jokingly suggests she’d even consider hypnosis to make herself love him, because she thinks he’s fantastic.

I don’t expect anyone to pursue a relationship with him, but I’m hoping for the best! I wished for George to find someone, so maybe he can help someone else find a wonderful partner.

Things seem to be going well for Sean and Lola on Love Island, but are their feelings genuine?

Ope believes this couple is truly in love and incredibly special. She feels so strongly that if they don’t win, the show isn’t legitimate, and is confident they’ll take the prize because their connection is so genuine.

Honestly, to me, Sean and Lola were the parents of the villa – they just seemed so solid together, truly amazing. But I also wonder if they’ve really been challenged yet. I’ve got a feeling if a really wealthy guy came in for Lola, her head would turn before Sean’s, but I genuinely think they have something special – the real deal, you know?

Lorenzo, Yasmin, and Aidan are all caught up in a complicated relationship. Whose feelings do you think are more aligned with Yasmin’s?

Robyn thinks Yasmin and Lorenzo have a real connection. She noticed subtle moments between them, like eye contact and private conversations, that suggest something is definitely happening. Robyn was actively encouraging them to get together, and believes Yasmin should pursue Lorenzo, especially since Aidan seemed to be interested in multiple people. She feels Yasmin deserves to explore this connection and go for what she wants.

Jasmine, Kavan, and Priya are caught in a love triangle. Who do you believe Kavan is closer to?

I really don’t see Jasmine and Kav working out long-term, honestly. They definitely have a strong physical connection, but I feel like someone else is going to catch Kav’s eye – he hasn’t met the right person for him yet.

I’m certain it’s Jasmine. From what I’ve seen, he’s really into her, and I’d be surprised if he started liking anyone else. I truly believe he has a much stronger connection with Jasmine.

Who were your closest friends in the villa?

Ope: “Aidan and Kav were my guys. We’re actually all related. I’m the third Murphy brother.”

Victoria: “In terms of girls I’d say Mica, Jasmin and obviously Namibia. In terms of guys, Samraj.”

I formed really strong bonds with all the girls, but I was especially close to Ellie. She was my rock in there – someone I could always count on. She’s amazing, and I’m so excited to see her and Yasmin. Yasmin felt like a little sister to me; she’s such a sweetheart, and I can’t wait to reconnect with her when she’s released.

What was your time like in the Love Island villa?

Wow, that was amazing! I had the best time, especially with everyone there. The whole experience was just unbelievably fun.

I had a positive experience overall, but it ended right as I began to feel more comfortable and open up – that’s when my partner broke up with me.

I had such a wonderful time! I met some incredible people, even though things didn’t turn romantic after he left. Still, it was an amazing experience. The food and snacks were delicious, and I genuinely loved every minute. It was a fantastic event, but I was also ready to come home.

What was going through your head when you learned you had been dumped from the villa?

Victoria explained they weren’t surprised about the elimination. People assumed Ope was upset because they anticipated being targeted, and Victoria had even warned Ope beforehand that they were likely to be eliminated if they didn’t improve their standing.

Is there anything you wish you could have done differently?

I was a big deal, honestly. I stand by everything I’ve done. Though, looking back, maybe some of the things I said while hanging out with my friends weren’t my best moments.

Victoria: “I wish I picked Samraj.”

What was your relationship like with George before he left? Where did you both stand?

Robyn and George had a really intense argument. She started yelling at him because she didn’t like what he was doing, things escalated quickly, and then he decided to leave. She had been planning to get a coffee before he left.

George and I got along really well in the villa. He immediately showed he was interested in me, and it was a great connection.

Have you reconnected since the villa?

Robyn and George recently reconnected after she came out; they had a FaceTime call and then met up last night to chat. She says he’s been very supportive of her on his podcasts and describes him as kind and respectful. They have a great connection, and she’s excited about what the future holds for their friendship.

Would you ever return to the villa if you were approached for All Stars?

Ope: “If you don’t get me on All Stars, what are you doing?”

Victoria feels like her time on the show was cut short and suggests bringing her back if Sam becomes available.

I’m definitely interested in trying again. The first attempt didn’t work out, but maybe this time it will be successful. We’ll have to wait and see.

Angelista and Simba starting to connect created a little bit of drama in the house. What are your thoughts on that?

It’s frustrating—I didn’t really get a chance to connect with Victoria because drama kept happening. But when Simba arrived, everything just felt…flat and uneventful.

Do you both did you both get to know other Islanders that we didn’t see play out on TV?

Ope: “I chatted to Ellie a little bit.”

Victoria: “Me and Samraj.”

I really connected with a few of the Islanders. I had some good chats with Kav, although they only showed a little of that on screen. Aidan was great too – we talked a lot, but not much of it made the final cut. And of course, George was lovely.

Who would have been your ideal type to walk into the villa?

Robyn described her ideal partner as someone who combined the physical appearance of George with the personality of Aidan. She joked that sending in actor Jacob Elordi would have also been perfect – basically, she was looking for someone attractive, confident, and definitely tall with a muscular build.

What is the one thing you miss about villa life?

Ope: “I just miss the boys. I miss hanging out with the boys, I really miss Kav and Aidan.”

Victoria described a life with absolutely no obligations. They didn’t even have to worry about feeding themselves – it was a completely carefree existence, like just drifting along.

I really enjoyed the hummus once they fixed it! Initially, it tasted quite bitter and wasn’t very good. I had to talk to someone about it because it was becoming a real problem, but thankfully they brought in a new batch that was much better.

I had a really funny dream while staying at the villa. While everyone else was enjoying time with their partners, all I could think about was how amazing the hummus and pita bread were! Seriously, that was the highlight for me – the food was incredible.
