What is Shudder on Amazon Prime Video?

As a horror fan, let me tell you, Shudder is a game-changer. Launched in 2015, this streaming service quickly became the place to go when you’re craving something scary. What I really appreciate is that it doesn’t try to be everything to everyone. It’s laser-focused on horror, thrillers, and the supernatural – a dedicated haven for those of us who love a good fright.
Shudder offers not only a wide selection of movies and TV shows, but also creates its own original content, including many unique productions. Some of their most well-known originals are Host, a scary movie made during the pandemic, The Ugly Stepsister, a dark and modern reimagining of the classic story, and Influencer, a chilling tale about the dangers of obsession.
If you’re interested, accessing Shudder’s content is simple. It’s now available through Amazon Prime Video, letting you enjoy Shudder’s unique shows and movies directly within the familiar Prime Video platform.
Even with an Amazon Prime membership, you’ll need a separate Shudder subscription. However, this makes it convenient to watch Shudder content, as it’s all accessible within the Prime Video app.
