The first chapter of Garrett Graham and Hannah Wells’ incredible love story has come to a close in Off Campus.

Viewers familiar with Elle Kennedy’s popular and passionate novels already suspected the Amazon show, recently renewed for another season, wouldn’t be without its challenges. However, things are looking promising so far for the hockey player at Briar University and the thoughtful musician he’s falling in love with.

The actors in Off Campus, like Belmont Cameli who plays Garrett, have much simpler romantic lives than their characters.

We want to sincerely apologize to anyone who was hoping to see Cameli and Ella Bright together romantically. Cameli has actually been in a relationship with Raina Morris for some time now.

Mika Abdalla, known as Allie—Hannah’s best friend—is now in a relationship. Stephen Kalyn, who plays Dean, Garrett’s teammate, is also seeing other people, until Allie unexpectedly captures his attention.

Despite everything happening off-screen, the on-screen chemistry between the actors hasn’t suffered. Cameli recently told Today that he and his co-star, Bright, immediately felt a connection during their first screen test – they knew something special was happening.

Bright concurred, telling Vanity Fair, “When he came in, it just felt very genuine and real.”

Being comfortable with each other was key, and that has blossomed into a beautiful friendship.

Bright shared with The Wrap at the show’s Los Angeles premiere that they had a wonderful time working together, filled with a lot of laughter and fun. This created a strong bond of trust and a comfortable environment where they could be truly open and honest with each other, which made their working relationship special.

As you anticipate what’s next for the characters of Briar University in season two, let’s take a look at the real-life relationships of the actors from Off Campus.

The actress, born in New York and raised in London, currently plays the character of Hannah, a dedicated songwriter, in the popular show Off Campus. She’s reportedly not in a relationship at the moment, but is open to whatever the future holds given her rising fame.

Bright told Vanity Fair she never expected her series to become so popular. “It completely changed my life for the better, beyond anything I could have imagined,” she said. “I’m now experiencing things I once thought were impossible.”

Popular hockey star Graham, played by Cameli, needs to show Hannah he has what it takes to be a great boyfriend.

However, in her personal life, the Illinois native has been with TV writer Raina Morris since at least March 2025. Cameli first hinted at their relationship by including a photo of Morris within a series of pictures she posted on Instagram.

It’s no surprise that Abdalla, who played Allie and won over Dean on the show Sex Appeal, is now engaged to her co-star, Jake Short, in real life. Their on-screen chemistry clearly translated off-screen!

In May 2025, Jake Short’s manager, Brian Medavoy, shared photos from a celebratory garden party. He wrote about the happy occasion, expressing his joy at watching Jake and his fiancé, Mika Abdalla, begin their next chapter together, noting their relationship blossomed from working together on set. He wished them a lifetime of happiness.

Although Dean has struggled with commitment in the past, Kalyn’s fiancée, Victoria Lovatsis, has been a constant presence in his life since 2012.

In March 2024, Lovatsis showed off a diamond ring on her Instagram, and she was wearing it at the premiere of Off Campus in May. It seems Kalyn might not have even attended the event if Lovatsis hadn’t invited her.

The actor shared with Elite Daily that his fiancée was a fan of the books and always loved the character of Dean. When the show was announced, she insisted he try out for the role, telling him, ‘You absolutely have to play Dean.’

Garrett’s friend, John Logan, isn’t like many of the other popular guys on campus. And the actor playing him, Cipriano, has been in a committed relationship with Justine Verheul since 2023.

In August 2024, she celebrated one year with the person she loves most. Then, in May 2025, for Cipriano’s 25th birthday, she wrote a message calling him her life partner, travel companion, and best friend, and shared how effortlessly joyful it is to celebrate him and how much she admires him every day.

John Tucker is a kind and thoughtful character, and like the relaxed nurse Mateo from The Pitt, he seems ready for a romance when the Off Campus series explores his love life as a forward on the Briar team.

And the same goes for Brooks, who appears to be romantically unattached IRL for now.

I really enjoy stories that develop gradually,” the Los Angeles native shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “I think viewers will especially appreciate the way the show builds Tucker’s character into a kind and powerful figure.”

The Australian actor will not return for season two of Off Campus because his character, Justin, wasn’t a good match for Hannah, who realized she didn’t have romantic feelings for him.

Perhaps Justin will return later in the series. As creator Louisa Levy explained to TV Guide, they didn’t get to introduce Stella, who Justin eventually ends up with in the original book. She suggested they might find a way to bring him back in a future season.

It doesn’t seem like Heuston is currently in a relationship outside of what people see, but he’s hoping to find someone soon.

Heuston shared with Esquire Australia in 2025 that he eventually envisions a traditional life with a family and a home, but feels it’s not currently within reach. He added that life is unpredictable and things can shift rapidly.
