Not everyone was hair for Teyana Taylor‘s latest look.

The actress from One Battle After Another caused a buzz online with her unique and stylish dress at the 2026 Billboard Women in Music event on April 29th.

A cream-colored design from Ashi Studio showcased a unique corset with brunette hair intricately embroidered onto it. A long, brown braid was used to fasten the corset. The outfit was completed with a one-sided tulle skirt that had a frayed, almost burnt, edge.

Teyana finished her outfit with satin, lace-up booties from Christian Louboutin that featured corset-like detailing.

Needless to say, the internet was divided.

One Instagram user described the content as messy and confusing, while another felt it wasn’t the creator’s best work.

However, a third fan argued, “This outfit and glam are a dramatic statement and it is exquisite.”

Teyana Taylor has a long-standing love for fashion that stands out with special touches.
