Blake Lively, known for her style on Gossip Girl, displayed her sophisticated fashion sense at a Fendi event in New York City on May 19th. She wore a timeless beige trench coat paired with a black tank top, jeans, and pointed heels.

She completed her look with a marquise diamond necklace and, of course, a Fendi baguette bag.

This outfit was more understated than the colorful vintage Versace gown she wore to the Met Gala earlier this month, when she famously walked up the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The pale yellow dress perfectly matched the glamorous “Fashion Is Art” theme of the fundraiser. It was decorated with sparkling purple jewels on the top and had a flowing, layered skirt that blended shades of purple and pink, reminiscent of the soft, pastel skies found in Venetian Rococo paintings.
