Funko is releasing new Marvel Pop figures this Wednesday, and the Spider-Man and Mary Jane 2-pack is the highlight. It depicts Spider-Man and MJ getting married, complete with wedding rings – although fans have noticed MJ’s ring is on the wrong hand. Spider-Man is wearing his usual superhero suit instead of a tuxedo, which some feel is a bit odd for a wedding. However, the figures are designed to match a specific comic book look from The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21, published in 1987.
I’m already adding this 2-pack to my holiday wish list – it’s fantastic! But there’s even more to love. Today’s main Marvel release features Wolverine, Iron Man, and Spider-Man, and they’re done in a really cool black-and-white sketched style. It just perfectly captures the feel of the comics, and if you love that look as much as I do, you can pre-order them now at Entertainment Earth. I’ve included direct links to Amazon below, too!
