Next week on Emmerdale, Dr. Caitlin Todd (Caroline Harker) turns up the pressure on Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) with her blackmail scheme, and it looks like the truth might finally come out.
Will Charity manage to get the funds she needs? And will the secret that baby Leyla is actually her daughter – with Ross Barton as the father – come out?
I’m really enjoying watching Ross and Laurel’s secret relationship develop – it’s getting pretty intense! It’s a bit sad though, because Gabby seems really hurt that Ross isn’t paying her any attention. You can tell she’s feeling left out and it’s a bit awkward knowing they’re sneaking around.
Archie Breckle is dealing with the consequences of what he’s done, while Cain Dingle’s situation keeps getting worse.
Here’s everything happening in Emmerdale between Monday, 1 and Thursday 4 June.
4 Emmerdale spoilers for next week
1. Dr Caitlin Todd deals Charity Dingle an ultimatum
Charity receives upsetting news: Kim Tate has changed her mind about buying Charity’s part of The Woolpack pub. Now needing funds quickly, Charity turns to Kim and asks if she’ll lend her the money instead.
Okay, so things really kicked off backstage – I could practically feel the tension! Chas Dingle, played by Lucy Pargeter, overheard a huge argument and immediately wanted answers. Turns out, Charity’s in a really tough spot, being blackmailed by Todd. The two of them quickly decided they needed to come up with a plan to deal with it, and honestly, I’m already on the edge of my seat to see what they come up with!
Together, they’ll sneak into Home Farm and grab some money from the safe…
Will they be successful?
Charity somehow finds a little more money for a down payment, but Todd dismisses it and demands the full amount by the next day, threatening to reveal her secret if she doesn’t pay up before Sarah’s 21st birthday.
2. Ross Barton and Laurel Thomas’s affair heats up
Gabby is upset about Ross ending things and confides in Dawn Fletcher, telling her how she feels. They have a frank conversation, and Dawn believes Ross is interested in someone else, and it’s not Gabby.
Ross agreed to keep his relationship with Laurel a secret, and they shared another intimate moment together.
Nicola King is excited that her friend might be starting a new relationship and can’t wait to share the news with Manpreet Sharma.
Later this week, Laurel unexpectedly feels guilty, thinking Gabby might be upset and feel like she’s been let down.
3. Kim Tate is suspicious of Sam Dingle
Sam Dingle, played by James Hooten, wants Ross to help him get more dance lessons. He’s hoping to impress Lydia, played by Karen Blick, but she doesn’t know they’ve been meeting. She’s disappointed when he declines a quiet night in to watch TV.
Things get even harder for Kim when she discovers Sam has been dishonest about his work schedule, leading her to believe he might be having an affair.
Ross and Laurel are together when Sam unexpectedly walks in, forcing them to quickly pretend Laurel is giving Ross dance lessons.
4. Archie Breckle faces punishment from Kerry and Eric Pollard
Kerry and Eric are shocked to discover Archie tricked them and are determined to get their money back.
As punishment, he has to work shifts at David’s Shop, and he quickly tells everyone how impressed he is with the teenager’s clever business idea.

5. Liam Cavanagh tries to help Cain Dingle
After a difficult few months, and especially since his prostate surgery, Cain is still working to rebuild his life and get back to normal.
Liam Cavanagh, the doctor from Emmerdale (played by Jonny McPherson), tries to help with a sensible plan.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 8pm on ITV1 and from 7am on ITVX.
