Megan Fox isn’t going to praise Machine Gun Kelly for simply doing his part.
Approximately four months following the birth of their daughter Saga Blade, actress Jennifer’s Body star and rapper Machine Gun Kelly (born Colson Barker) revealed Megan Fox’s thoughts on people admiring him as a father of a daughter.
During his interview on Today, August 7th, MGK stated that someone recently complimented him by saying “You’re such a good dad!” just because he was holding the baby. However, he clarified that it wasn’t true, as she reacted angrily, insisting, “No, no, no, no.
Additionally, the 35-year-old, who is a father to Casie, aged 15, with his former partner Emma Cannon, emphasized that he did not practice hypocrisy or double standards.
He clarified that he’d like to redirect all the accolades to Megan, as she’s the one who truly does all the hard work. He simply contributes by playing the guitar and hoping the baby stays content.
As he put it, “I keep getting called ‘The Music Teacher.’”
Nonetheless, Machine Gun Kelly swiftly shared insights into his life since the couple’s baby arrival in March, expressing that it’s “awesome.
Indeed, the dad of two shared some details about their latest family member, Megan, earlier this summer, revealing the story behind her distinctive name.
MGK stated during his interview in June on the Today show that her five-year journey, which involved appearing, vanishing, reappearing, then vanishing again, and finally reappearing, is quite remarkable. He compared it to a grand tale or epic story, as “saga” implies.
Given that “saga” originates from Norse traditions, MGK felt it fitting to name his daughter thus, as he expressed, “With roots in Norse mythology, ‘saga’ signifies the Nordic goddess of tale-spinning. So, she is destined for a future filled with storytelling.
Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) has been vocal about his appreciation for his family while promoting his upcoming album titled “Lost Americana“, set to release on August 8. Megan, who shares three children with her former husband Brian Austin Green, has mostly kept a low profile since the birth of Saga. However, even in her silence, it’s evident that the new addition to their family is considered a wonderful part of their continuing journey. This sentiment holds significant weight for Megan, given her previous miscarriage that she disclosed in 2023.
In her pregnancy announcement from November, Megan penned, ‘Things may seem gone, but truly they return.’ Welcome back.
