Jake Paul Shuts Down Interview After Calling Host Piers Morgan a ‘Fat Ass’

Jake Paul casually labeled Piers Morgan as “plump” and subsequently ended their intense conversation following the exchange.

Paul, 28 years old, expressed frustration during a heated moment in the preview for ‘Piers Morgan Uncensored’, saying he believes Piers might overvalue his own opinions.

Initially, Morgan released a sneak peek of the interview set to air on YouTube later in the day. Later, Paul appeared as a guest on Morgan’s show titled “Uncensored“, where he discussed his upcoming boxing match against Julio César Chávez Jr., scheduled for June 28th.

In the brief video excerpt, Morgan challenged Paul’s boxing abilities, mentioning that Tommy Fury was the only true boxer he had ever fought against, whom Paul lost to. (Paul suffered his first professional defeat at the hands of Fury due to a split decision by the judges in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia, in February 2023.)

In the year 2024, I too couldn’t help but tease Paul about his unanimous triumph against Mike Tyson, who was then 58 years old, that took place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas during November.

“Peak Tyson, you wouldn’t have lasted 10 seconds,” the Piers Morgan Uncensored host argued.

Paul firmly stated, ‘This isn’t a jest.’ He emphasized that he’s at the top of his game. ‘People often underestimate me,’ Paul continued, ‘but I am truly a formidable opponent. I genuinely excel in what I do.’

Following Paul’s offensive remark about Morgan being “overweight,” the host diplomatically advised Morgan to focus on his exceptional skills as a “successful YouTuber” and an “influential figure.

“You can sit there and make up s*** but you actually don’t know your facts,” Paul insisted.

As the discussion became increasingly intense, Paul abruptly ended the interview by shutting off his laptop’s display.

During his promotional interviews for the fight against Chávez Jr., Paul’s heated exchange with Morgan wasn’t an isolated incident of discomfort.

This month, it was exclusively revealed by Us Weekly that a Zoom interview between Paul and Billy Bush, host of Extra, took an unexpected turn as they began exchanging witty but sharp comments. The issues allegedly arose when Paul made a joke about not recognizing Bush, to which Bush responded by reminding his guest that he had previously fought “out-of-form” boxers.

According to the source, Jake’s reaction was, ‘You’re not well-known enough,’ but Billy retorted, ‘I am Billy Bush, the most recognized figure in television! I was part of the infamous Trump recording!’

In simpler terms, footage secretly recorded during a time on the set of Access Hollywood featuring President Donald Trump was made public before the 2016 election. This footage showed Bush engaging in conversation that some deemed to be disrespectful towards women, which he later expressed regret for by publicly apologizing and saying he felt “embarrassed” and “ashamed” for his involvement.

An inside source forecasted that the heated conversation between Bush and Paul wouldn’t be included in the final cut of the interview, although neither party’s reps chose to provide a statement on the matter.

On numerous occasions, Paul has urged Floyd Mayweather Jr. to step out of his retirement for a last boxing encounter. In March, Mayweather indicated to us that he’s open to participating in an “exhibition” fight with Paul, signing up for the event.

He clarified that a genuine fight isn’t feasible due to the significant weight disparity making it unsanctioned. However, they could participate in an exhibition match instead, which would be relatively simple and straightforward.

In the past, Mayweather engaged in an exhibition fight lasting eight rounds with Logan Paul’s sibling, namely Logan Paul, in Miami Gardens, Florida, during June of 2021.

Currently, Jake is set to face Chávez Jr. in a 10-round cruiserweight matchup at the Honda Center, located in Anaheim, California, this coming Saturday.
