*This article contains full spoilers for Squid Game season 3*
In the third season of Squid Game, we return to the lethal competition that took a disastrous turn following an uprising. The remaining players must endure even more tension-filled challenges, each meticulously crafted to reduce their numbers until only one victor remains.
For a second time, Lee Jung-jae takes the lead role, portraying Gi-hun, also known as Player 456. At the beginning of this installment, he finds himself at rock bottom, grieving over his unsuccessful rebellion and the countless lives it cost, among them a cherished friend.
In a short span of time, he finds himself back in the action, but the last six episodes see a series of prominent “departures” or, to put it bluntly, violent demises.
Without a doubt, certain departures may stir feelings of sadness in viewers (while a few might even elicit joyful reactions), yet all these exits will spark curiosity as to who might survive till the end, igniting discussions among us.

This version maintains the original’s tone and structure while using slightly different phrasing to create variety and improve readability.

In the initial installment of Squid Game season 3, known as “Keys and Knives,” there are fewer significant deaths compared to other episodes. The only notable violent incident occurs when No-eul confronts another player inside the organ harvesting chamber.
Since those antagonist guards weren’t major characters, their loss won’t be mourned by fans.
