Scott Wolf is taking legal action amid his divorce from Kelley Wolf.
Shortly after the former “Party of Five” actor announced his divorce from his wife following 21 years of marriage, a judge has temporarily granted him custody of their three children – Jackson (age 16), Miller (age 12) and Lucy (age 11). Additionally, the judge issued a restraining order.
According to a court ruling on June 26, Judge Richard Mrazi stated that Kelley has exhibited a growing pattern of actions that pose a significant risk of causing immediate and permanent harm to the children involved. This statement was made public by Today.com.
Indeed, the judge added that Kelley had made statements about taking the party’s minor children out of the country, which he found concerning. Furthermore, the judge stated that Kelley’s recent actions were significant enough for her to be temporarily detained by law enforcement and admitted into a mental health facility involuntarily.
TopMob News has reached out to reps for Scott and Kelley for comment but has not yet heard back.
The paperwork was submitted not long after Kelley publicly discussed his experience with an “involuntary psychiatric assessment,” using the term 5150, which is a California order enabling authorities to detain someone for up to 72 hours if they seem to pose a threat to themselves or others. Although this term is specific to California, it’s often used more generally to denote involuntary psychiatric holds.
As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase it as: “Absolutely no mental health issues or addictions here. Just a woman who bravely endured an unexpected 5150 hold in Utah and is now embarking on my first date in two nights – quite nervous about it! Can’t wait to see how it unfolds!
Earlier in her write-up, Kelley clarified that her 11-year-old daughter was with her prior to the psychiatric assessment.
Later on, I found myself being cuffed by the police at my beloved spot, and unwillingly confined within an establishment that seemed more akin to a jail cell than a medical center. There were no clocks, phones or any exposure to daylight.
The professional life coach didn’t reveal the identity of the individual who caused her arrest, but made it clear that it wasn’t her father or former partner. Instead, she referred to this person as a “pretended friend.
During my time at the hospital, they proposed treatments such as lithium, Seroquel, and Xanax for me. However, I courteously refused these medications. Instead, I practiced meditation, deep breathing, and engaged in activities that I’ve been instructing others on for years.
After her brief hospitalization due to a psychiatric issue, I’ve found myself struggling to reach out to my beloved family members.
Kelley posted on June 23, “I can’t reach my family!” Instead, it seems like they’re enjoying their holiday in Cape Cod. It would be lovely to have a break instead of being detained and losing rights, but I’m doing well nonetheless!
Ever since I made it official that I was divorcing Kelley on June 10, I’ve been keeping a quiet presence. I’ve shared my sentiments to People, expressing that our children have always been, and continue to be, the center of our world, and as we navigate this new phase in our lives, I humbly request privacy for us and especially for our kids, as we help them adapt to this fresh chapter in their lives.
