This difficulty arises not just from the challenge itself, but because there’s a certain history or lore associated with it. However, he didn’t want to say it was thin, but rather it feels somewhat elusive. He added that this mystery adds to the appeal of the project. It’s been enjoyable to work on due to its innovative nature as a “blue sky” project, meaning it involves new and unexplored ideas. Despite the difficulties, he remains optimistic, saying they will eventually solve the puzzle and the project is starting to take shape.
News about the Tower of Terror movie emerged in 2021, revealing that Johansson was set to act and produce. However, the project’s progress has encountered some bumps along the way. Initially, it was delayed while Johansson resolved her lawsuit with Disney regarding Black Widow’s release during the pandemic. Later, development was halted during the two major Hollywood strikes of 2023. Following the resolution of the strikes, Johansson expressed enthusiasm about working on the script.
Despite Scarlett Johansson’s role in the upcoming movie “Tower of Terror,” it’s worth noting that this project is merely one aspect of her expanding career as a director.
