According to what was announced in May, Bungie is set to unveil details about the next story expansion for Destiny 2, titled Renegades, on September 9th. The event, starting at 9 AM PST, will offer a comprehensive first look into their Star Wars-themed collaboration.
The connection to the “Destiny” universe isn’t clear yet, but it shares numerous elements from this science fiction world, including empires, underworlds, blaster weapons, and lightsabers. It appears a new Dredgen character may be emerging, and although there won’t be a fresh raid, players can explore a completely novel dungeon (with the possibility of a World’s First race on Contest Mode).
The game “Renegades” is set to be released on December 2nd. However, until then, players can explore the latest upcoming update called “Ash and Iron”. This update goes live during the reveal stream itself and offers various exciting features like new equipment, Artifact mods, modifications, events, and adjustments in the sandbox. Additionally, the Desert Perpetual will receive a challenging new Epic difficulty level.
