James Bonsall has found his forever rose.
Former *Bachelor in Paradise* contestant and his girlfriend, Rebecca, are engaged! They announced the heartwarming proposal took place in California.
Rebecca, 28, shared her excitement on Instagram on September 14th, posting a video of her and James, 35, in front of a beautiful flower arch. She wrote that she was completely speechless and felt like she was still dreaming. Overjoyed, she expressed how lucky and grateful she felt, calling it the perfect day. Still emotional, she shared her endless love for her now-fiancé, James, and announced their engagement!
In a heartwarming moment, James – who was previously on *The Bachelorette* in 2021 – proposed to his now-fiancée with a beautiful backdrop. Rebecca said yes, and the happy couple shared a kiss and posed for photos by the beach. They then joined friends at San Diego’s Hotel del Coronado to celebrate with plenty of white roses.
James shared a close-up photo of Rebecca’s diamond engagement ring on his Instagram Stories, and Rebecca continued to express her excitement about getting engaged.
Rebecca shared a photo and wrote that they’re still catching up on all the congratulatory messages they’ve received. She expressed their gratitude and said they feel very loved and blessed.
After the news was shared, many stars from *Bachelor Nation* offered their congratulations in the comments. Brendan Scanzano from *Bachelor in Paradise* simply wrote, “Congrats brother!” and Mikey Planeta, who appeared with James on season 17 of *The Bachelorette*, added that he was “happy for both of them!”
James and Rebecca announced their engagement after dating for almost three years. James first publicly revealed their relationship in December 2022 with a birthday post on Instagram, where he shared how thankful he was to have her in his life.
He wished Rebecca a happy birthday, saying he felt lucky to celebrate with her and hoped they had many more special days together. He told her she deserved all the happiness in the world and that he loved her.

Spencer Conley, who made a good impression on Jenn Tran with his friendly personality during *The Bachelorette*, found romance on season 10 of *Bachelor in Paradise*. In August 2025, he shared a post with Jess Edwards (who previously tried to connect with Joey Graziadei on *The Bachelor*) hinting that they were falling for each other-a common way of saying they weren’t ready to say “I love you” just yet. Spencer jokingly declared on Instagram that he’d “already won.”
Jess also expressed her excitement online, writing that she was feeling happy about Spencer. The couple chose their relationship over a $250,000 prize, and were thrilled to get engaged and receive a surprise gift of $190,000. Jess shared that everything they had experienced together brought them to this special moment. She will soon be moving to Dallas to be with Spencer.

Status: Dating
Bailey Taylor Brown declared on Instagram in August 2025 that her date with Jeremy Simon was the best first date she’d ever had, following their time on the tenth season of *Paradise*. But could it also be their last? Bailey, who originally competed for Grant Ellis’s affection, and Jeremy, who almost won the heart of *The Bachelorette*’s Jenn, managed to overcome a particularly difficult disagreement when Bailey discovered Jeremy had hesitated about sending Susie Evans home.
Despite the drama, their connection continued to grow during their time in Costa Rica. Though they were eliminated during the *Bachelor in Paradise* finale, they decided to continue dating off-camera. The show later revealed they had already met each other’s families and were making plans to live in the same city.

Status: Dating
It looks like things are still going strong between Andrew Spencer, from Katie Thurston’s season of *Paradise*, and Alexe Godin, who appeared on Grant’s season. Just six days after Andrew called Alexe “my love” on Instagram in August 2025, she reciprocated, calling him “my darling.”
Although they chose a relationship over the $250,000 prize on the *Bachelor in Paradise* finale, they still each received $125,000.
“This is incredible,” Alexe exclaimed. “I’m leaving with money, but more importantly, with love.”
The show then revealed that Alexe plans to move to Chicago with Andrew, bringing their relationship to the Windy City.

Status: Dating
Kat and Dale faced a difficult situation during the *Bachelor in Paradise* finale when Sean McLaughlin claimed Kat had been secretly communicating with an ex-boyfriend through letters and a hidden laptop. Kat, however, insisted she hadn’t contacted him while on the show, explaining that she and her ex were still in contact because she hadn’t expected to find someone new.
Although Kat and Dale didn’t make it to the final rose ceremony, their relationship continued to develop. After the show, they traveled the U.S. together and started making plans for the future, including potentially moving closer to each other. Kat was originally on Zach Shallcross’ season of *The Bachelor*, and Dale was a contestant on Clare Crawley’s season.
Dale wrote under Kat’s August 2025 Instagram post, ‘It wasn’t easy, but we got through it together, and I wouldn’t trade the experience for anything.’

Status: Just friends—for now
After leaving season 10 of *Bachelor in Paradise*, Gary Levingston and Leslie Fhima (who was a finalist on *Golden Bachelor*) seemed like a promising couple, even sharing a hopeful video about their future together. However, Leslie, who once inspired musician Prince, is now unsure if she wants to pursue a romantic relationship with Gary.
She shared that she and Gary talk constantly. Appearing on Bachelor Happy Hour in August 2025, she described him as one of her closest friends, someone she turns to when she needs help. He’s a calming presence for her, and they consistently support each other, always having each other’s backs.
Okay, so she admitted, yeah, the distance is *rough* – she’s all the way in Minnesota and he’s in California! But she’s not giving up, not at all! She says the most important thing to her, in *any* relationship, especially a romantic one, is being friends first. Like, truly friends. She wants to grow old with her best friend, and honestly? That’s just… everything. It’s so sweet and I totally get it! I’m obsessed with them being together, and that’s what really matters.

Status: Dating
Kim Buike, who was a frontrunner on *Golden Bachelorette*, has found love with Faith Martin, the recipient of Gerry Turner’s first impression rose. Despite being eliminated on season 10 of *Paradise*, the pair are still together. In August 2025, Faith shared a video on Instagram showing Kim enjoying a date in her hometown of Washington.
After being eliminated from Paradise, Faith enthusiastically praised her partner, saying she was incredibly impressed with who they are as a person. Kim, when asked about a lasting connection, said they both felt they’d already formed a strong bond and planned to continue building on it after the show.

Grant initially connected with 25 women on *The Bachelor*, but ultimately chose Juliana Pasquarosa. Sadly, the couple broke up less than three months after their proposal was shown on television.
Okay, so this is tough to share, but I want to be real with you all. Juliana and I have decided to go our separate ways. We truly gave it our all – there was a lot of love and effort on both sides – but after a lot of honest conversations, we realized we’re just not the best match for each other in the long run. It’s sad, but we both feel it’s the right decision.

Joan Vassos, who was a contestant on *The Golden Bachelor* and later became the first *Golden Bachelorette*, is engaged! She found love with Chock Chapple on the show and they are now set to marry.
During the November 2024 finale of *The Golden Bachelorette*, Joan shared a hopeful message, saying, ‘We’re proof that even later in life, there’s always hope.’ Moments before Chock proposed in Bora Bora, she told him, ‘I’ve waited for this moment, in this beautiful place, to tell you that I love you. I want to spend my life with you – waking up with you every morning and kissing you goodnight.’

At the end of season 21 of *The Bachelorette*, it seemed like Jenn Tran, who previously appeared on *The Bachelor*, had found love with Devin Strader. However, during the *After the Final Rose* special in September 2024, Jenn shared that Devin became distant with her immediately after filming ended.
Jenn explained to Jesse Palmer that he had strongly declared his love for her, but the very next day acted as if those feelings never existed. She said all the promises and affection he’d expressed were suddenly gone.
The situation escalated when Devin posted a 13-minute video on Instagram explaining his perspective. In the video, he took responsibility for his actions and detailed the reasons behind their breakup, which he had initially discussed in a 15-minute phone call.
Jenn said he ended their relationship during a phone call in August, but he insists she pressed him for answers while he was attempting to tell her in person.
Honestly, I was dying to tell her, but I really wanted to do it face-to-face. It just… happened. She kind of pushed me until I couldn’t hold it in anymore, you know? It wasn’t exactly how *I* planned it, but she left me no choice!
Oh my gosh, after *The Bachelor*, Jenn just completely stole my heart on *Dancing With the Stars*! And with Sasha Farber, no less! They had *such* amazing chemistry, I was obsessed. Even after they were sadly eliminated in October 2024, they kept dancing together for a while, which was so sweet. But, unfortunately, it didn’t last, and they broke up in 2025. Still, I’ll always remember their incredible performances!

Greg Grippo, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season of *The Bachelorette*, began dating Victoria Fuller from *Bachelor in Paradise* in November 2022. They announced their relationship on the season eight finale of *Bachelor in Paradise*, but Greg shared in April 2024 that they had broken up.

Before Victoria Fuller and Greg Grippo revealed they were dating on the season finale of *Bachelor in Paradise*, Victoria had ended her engagement with fellow cast member Johnny DePhillipo.

However, three months after their nuptials, the couple announced that they were breaking up.
Gerry and Theresa have been having open and honest conversations about their relationship and living arrangements. As a result, they’ve mutually decided to get a divorce, as they shared during an appearance on *Good Morning America* in April 2024.
They reached a divorce settlement in June 2024, according to court records reviewed by TopMob News.
In April 2025, Gerry shared on the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast that he was seeing someone and things were progressing nicely.

Tennis star Joey has found love! After dating 32 women, he proposed to project manager Kelsey Anderson in March 2024. He told Kelsey, “I can’t wait any longer to tell you I love you,” before asking her to marry him. Joey shared that Kelsey’s positive energy makes him incredibly happy, a feeling he’d never experienced before. He also said that meeting her showed him just how wonderful life could be, and he knew he wanted to build a beautiful future with her.

John Henry Spurlock, who competed for Charity Lawson’s affection, and Kat Izzo, from Zach Shallcross’ season, found a connection on *Bachelor in Paradise*, but their romance didn’t last. John Henry proposed with a Neil Lane diamond, telling Kat she was everything he was looking for. However, shortly after the show’s finale, they announced their split. In a joint statement on Instagram, they explained that their differing career goals led them to realize they weren’t a long-term match, but they remained thankful for the support they received from friends, family, and fans.

Eliza Isichei, who previously dated Clayton Echard, is engaged! Despite some initial hesitation, she happily accepted a proposal from Aaron Bryant, a software salesman, at a beautiful oceanfront location. Eliza was especially touched that Aaron had asked her mother for her blessing before proposing.
However, their engagement didn’t last. After returning from Mexico, Eliza and Aaron experienced some difficulties, and they later announced their split. They shared on social media in December 2023 that the breakup was amicable and filled with mutual respect.

Despite previously expressing disappointment that boyfriend Aven Jones hadn’t proposed in a traditional way-something he reportedly considered doing on *The Bachelorette* with Rachel Recchia-Kylee Russell accepted his proposal to try and make their relationship work after *Paradise*. Although she had a special engagement dress prepared, she felt she needed to follow her heart, believing that “love is all about taking risks.” Unfortunately, just two days after the show’s finale aired in December 2023, Kylee announced on social media that the relationship had ended due to Aven’s infidelity. Aven later apologized, admitting he had made significant mistakes and hurt Kylee.

Charity Lawson is thrilled with how her season of *The Bachelorette* ended! She hinted to TopMob News that things were going well, but her August 2023 finale was even more exciting than she let on. Dotun Olubeko, an integrative medicine specialist, proposed to Charity, a child and family therapist, getting down on one knee and calling their love “perfect.” He asked her to marry him and make their relationship a lasting reality.
Though they’re planning a wedding for 2025 or 2026, Charity will first be hitting the dance floor on *Dancing With the Stars*. Dotun surprised her with the news on *The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose*, excitedly telling her he knew how much she loved to dance and that he was thrilled she’d be joining the show.

Zach Shallcross and Kaity Biggar are happily married! After a few ups and downs, including some challenges during the Fantasy Suite portion of the show, Zach proposed to Kaity in March 2023, telling her, “I am so in love with you,” and declaring she was his world. In July 2023, they took their relationship a step further, announcing on social media that they had officially moved in together.
Kaity and her partner got married on May 23, 2025, in a small, intimate chapel ceremony. They had originally planned a bigger wedding, but Kaity realized it wasn’t necessary. As she shared on the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast in June 2025, she felt the most important thing was to focus on their love and connection, and she didn’t want to get caught up in minor details.
However, one thing especially impressed her. The aunt who signed her up to compete for Zach’s affection discovered the chapel near Austin where they had their wedding. Kaity explained, “It was exactly what we wanted.”

Danielle Maltby and Michael Allio, who seemed like a promising couple after meeting on *Bachelor in Paradise*, have broken up. Danielle previously lost her fiancé, and Michael is a single dad raising his young son James after the loss of his wife. Though they dated for about a year after Danielle moved to Ohio to be with him, they ultimately decided to go their separate ways. Michael explained on a podcast that while they cared for each other, they weren’t compatible in the long term, and he’s grieving the loss of the future they had planned together.

I was so invested in Brandon and Serene’s love story! I remember watching them get engaged on *Paradise* – Brandon told Serene he’d love her ‘until the end of time,’ and it felt so genuine. They seemed perfect together! Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be. They announced their split back in May 2023, and honestly, it broke my heart. They shared that trying to make things work with so much public attention was really tough, and that despite still loving each other, it was just too painful to continue. They asked for kindness, and I really hope people respected that. It was just a really sad outcome for a couple I genuinely rooted for.

Pilot Rachel and contractor Tino Franco ended their engagement after he kissed someone else while their season of the show was still airing. Tino later admitted on the podcast *The Viall Files* that he deeply regrets his actions. He said it was unfair to Rachel, that he’s still ashamed of it, and wishes he could have handled the situation differently.

Susie Evans and Clayton Echard’s relationship, which unfolded on and off-screen during the 2022 season of *The Bachelor*, ultimately ended after about six months. While they briefly reconnected after Susie initially turned him down in the finale, the pair decided to go their separate ways. Susie explained in a November 2022 blog post that, despite having some happy times together, she wasn’t truly thriving in the relationship and felt it wasn’t allowing her to be her best self.
Susie then began dating Justin Glaze, who is known from Bachelor Nation, but they ended their relationship in August 2024.

Michelle, an elementary school teacher from Minnesota, accepted a proposal from Nayte Olukoya, a sales executive from Texas, on a reality TV show and received $200,000 towards a future home. However, the couple ultimately broke up after six months, following the show’s finale in December 2021. Nayte later admitted on a podcast that they had frequent arguments and struggled to connect, and that ending things without an in-person conversation was a mistake. Michelle began dating Jack Leius in 2023, and they became engaged the following year, marrying in Minnesota in June 2025.

Fans were excited about a future for Maurissa Gunn and Riley Christian, picturing them enjoying cozy Sunday mornings together. However, the couple from season seven of *BIP* only spent a few weekends together before deciding to split.
In a joint statement released in January 2022, Maurissa (who previously dated Peter Weber) and Riley (a former suitor on Tayshia Adams’ season) announced their breakup. They explained that they had hoped for a different outcome, but both needed to focus on personal growth.

Status: Split
The first same-sex couple from *Bachelor in Paradise* got engaged during season six, but they revealed they had broken up in 2019 on Halloween.
As a lifestyle expert, I’ve seen countless relationships evolve, and sometimes, even with deep love and care, the healthiest path forward means taking a step back. My partner and I have made the difficult decision to do just that. We truly prioritize our individual and collective well-being, and after a lot of thought, we’ve realized that right now, the best thing for us is to focus on growing as individuals. It’s a decision we’ve come to with a lot of love and respect for each other, and we’re committed to what’s best for our futures, even if that means going our separate ways for a while.

Despite a breakup during season seven of *Bachelor in Paradise*, Noah Erb and Abigail Heringer realized they were meant to be together. After initially living in San Diego, the couple recently bought a house in Noah’s hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Abigail shared on Instagram in July 2023 that they were excited to start this new chapter, joking that they were entering their ‘Chip and Joanna Gaines era!’ Noah proposed to Abigail in San Diego in August 2023, and they’re now planning their wedding.

I was so thrilled to see Serena Pitt and Joe Amabile officially tie the knot! You might remember Joe – he’s the sweet grocery store owner who first appeared on Becca Kufrin’s season way back in 2018. And Serena was a fan favorite on Matt James’ season. They got engaged on *Paradise*, and about a year later, in October 2022, they just decided to go for it and get legally married at City Hall near their place in New York City! Serena, who now co-hosts the *Bachelor Happy Hour* podcast with Joe, shared the news with a cute video and explained they’re *still* planning a bigger wedding in September 2023 – but who wouldn’t want to get married twice? It’s so lovely to see them so happy!

Kenny Braasch proposed to Mari Pepin with a Neil Lane diamond ring during the 2021 finale of *Paradise*, telling her, “I am so in love with you and can’t imagine my life without you.” Mari, originally from Maryland and a contestant on *The Bachelor*, moved to Chicago to be with Kenny. Before their November 2023 wedding-a 65-person ceremony in Puerto Rico-the couple solidified their commitment with matching tattoos during a trip to the Bahamas in May 2023. Kenny and Mari had previously dated Tayshia Adams before finding each other.

Status: Married
Becca, formerly of *The Bachelorette*, and Thomas Jacobs, who appeared on Katie Thurston’s season, found love on season seven of *Bachelor in Paradise* in 2021. They briefly split up during filming but got back together after the show ended.
In May 2022, they announced their engagement, revealing that Becca had proposed. She told TopMob News she hoped their unconventional approach would encourage others to break tradition. Thomas returned the proposal in October. They welcomed their son, Benson, in September 2023, with Becca sharing on Instagram how overwhelmed they were with love for him.
Just weeks after Benson’s birth, the couple spontaneously tied the knot on October 13th.

Status: Split
In the 2021 finale of *The Bachelorette*, Katie got engaged to Blake Moynes. They first admitted their feelings for each other during a memorable overnight date that included paintball, a relaxing soak in a cowboy tub, and a heartfelt conversation under the stars.
Blake proposed to Katie by getting down on one knee and telling her he wanted to support her dreams and be with her always. He said she deserved everything good in life.
Just three months after getting engaged, the couple announced they were breaking up. In a joint statement, they said they cherished the time they spent together this past year, but realized they weren’t meant to be long-term partners and that going their separate ways was the kindest option. She has since married comedian Jeff Arcuri.
