As a lifestyle expert, I was so charmed by the recent scenes from the Trump’s visit to the UK! Kate Middleton graciously hosted Melania Trump at the beautiful Frogmore Gardens at Windsor Castle. It was lovely to see them meet with young members of the Scouts’ Squirrels program and learn all about the kids’ ‘Go Wild’ badge – such a sweet way to encourage a love of nature! It’s moments like these that really highlight the power of connecting with the outdoors and fostering community.

The princess, who helps lead the Scout Association, wore an olive green jacket with a brown pleated midi skirt and boots. Melania chose a tan suede cargo jacket and light-colored trousers.

Just a night after attending the official state dinner with President and Mrs. Trump, King Charles III, and Queen Camilla, Princess Kate and Prince William spent time with the scouts. This was the first official event and first time the Princess and First Lady had been photographed together, though they had met before at a state banquet during the Trumps’ 2019 visit.

During a recent three-day trip to the U.K. with the 47th president, Melania Trump enjoyed several royal engagements. These included a tour of the Royal Library and a visit to Queen Mary’s Dolls’ House in Windsor on September 18th.

Kate, mother of Prince George (12), Princess Charlotte (10), and Prince Louis (7), recently met with Melania Trump. This meeting marks another step in Kate’s return to royal duties after completing chemotherapy last fall. Following her cancer diagnosis, the Princess of Wales took time away from public appearances, but has slowly begun resuming them after finishing treatment.

Since recovering, she’s talked about how it feels to get her life back to normal after dealing with health issues.

She explained that people often try to appear strong and resilient during medical treatment. But after treatment ends, many struggle with the recovery process, finding it surprisingly challenging to return to their everyday lives, as she shared during a hospital visit reported by People magazine.

She urged fellow cancer survivors to give themselves grace.

She explained that adjusting to a new life takes time and isn’t easy. It’s full of ups and downs, and everyone experiences difficult periods.

After a 19-month absence, Prince Harry was spotted arriving at Clarence House-the King’s home in London-likely to visit his father before attending another event in the city.

Harry arrived at the house around 5:20 p.m. on September 10th, but Charles had come back just a few hours earlier.

I was so thrilled to hear that Peter Phillips, Princess Anne’s son, announced his engagement to Harriet Sperling! They’ve been dating for over a year, and the news came out on August 1st. It’s wonderful to see him so happy!

The couple’s spokesperson told Hello! magazine that both families were told about the engagement at the same time and were very happy about it.

Just a day before turning 78, the royal was made an honorary Vice Admiral by the United Kingdom’s Royal Navy.

Camilla is the first woman to receive this honorary title. It’s awarded only by the monarch-in this case, her husband, King Charles III-based on a recommendation from the First Sea Lord, currently Sir Gwyn Jenkins.

Just hours before she was scheduled to attend, Princess Catherine cancelled her appearance at Royal Ascot, according to Kensington Palace.

The palace said Kate was sad to miss the event, but she’s still working out how to manage her public appearances as she recovers from cancer.

Prince Harry’s lawsuit seeking extra security ended on May 2nd when the courts rejected his claim. This came over a year after a previous request for increased protection was denied by the Royal and VIP Executive Committee.

After Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stopped being full-time working royals in 2021 and moved to the U.S., their security coverage was reduced. However, Harry continued to request security arrangements whenever he traveled to the U.K. in the following years.

Prince Harry told the BBC on May 2nd that he was deeply upset by the outcome of his recent legal fight. He added that he doesn’t foresee returning to the UK with his wife and children anytime soon.

In an interview with the BBC on May 2nd, Prince Harry explained that his father, King Charles III, isn’t currently speaking to him due to disagreements about security. He expressed hope that they can resolve their differences and rebuild their relationship.

Prince Harry expressed his desire to rebuild his relationship with his family, including his father, but indicated the next step depends on his dad. He shares two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, with Meghan.

He doesn’t foresee returning to the U.K. with his family anytime soon. He expressed sadness at the thought of his children not being able to experience his home country with him.

Harry explained that his father has significant influence and could potentially solve the situation. He suggested this wouldn’t require direct involvement, but rather letting go and allowing professionals to handle things and continue their work.

After years of fighting, he’s now seeking peace and a chance to make amends. He explained, “Life is short, and my father doesn’t have much time left.”

More than a year after announcing his cancer diagnosis, King Charles wrote on April 29th that going through treatment has highlighted the kindness and strength of people around him.

In a booklet offering support to cancer patients, Charles wrote that receiving a diagnosis is understandably scary for both individuals and their families. However, speaking from personal experience, he also believes it can reveal the incredible kindness and strength people are capable of.

He expressed gratitude to the healthcare workers who cared for him, and shared that the experience reinforced his deep admiration for the incredible work done by the organizations and people present, many of whom he’s known and supported for a long time.

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – were absent from the royal family’s traditional Easter service at St George’s Chapel in Windsor on April 20th.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla joined the rest of the royal family in celebrations, but Prince William and Kate chose to spend the weekend at their country home in Norfolk with their children, according to several news sources.

This was the second Easter the couple missed. It happened just a week after Princess Catherine revealed she was undergoing cancer treatment.

On April 15th, Jason Knauf was named the new Chief Executive Officer of Prince William’s environmental initiative, The Earthshot Prize. In a statement on the organization’s website, Knauf expressed his excitement about collaborating with the team and the Earthshot community to further their goal of promoting hopeful solutions for the planet.

He was promoted almost seven years after he raised concerns about Meghan Markle, claiming she bullied two personal assistants and tried to discredit another staff member. Representatives for the Sussexes denied these claims, telling *The Times* that the story was a deliberately damaging attempt to spread false information.

Buckingham Palace looked into the claims, but the investigation concluded in 2022 with no public report of its findings.

William and Kate’s eldest son George attended a soccer match in Paris alongside his dad April 7.

I was absolutely gutted to hear about Graham Craker. He was one of the royal family’s bodyguards – can you believe he actually protected Harry and William?! He passed away in April at 77, and honestly, it feels like losing a bit of royal history. I always felt so secure knowing he was there, watching over them, and it’s just incredibly sad news.

Craker was with Princes William and Harry when they found out their mother, Princess Diana, had passed away, and he was also present at her funeral.

In 2017, Craker told The New York Post that he saw Prince William during the procession. He explained that he was standing near the back of the hearse when Prince William looked up and briefly acknowledged him with a nod. Craker said this seemed to comfort the Prince, knowing he was with his mother during her final journey.

Oh my goodness, you guys, I just saw the news! Apparently, the Duchess is pregnant! A spokesperson told *The Telegraph* that they’re expecting their little one this summer! I’m seriously bursting with happiness for them – they said they’re absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to become parents. I knew they were meant to be, and now they’re starting a family! I’m already imagining the cutest little baby!

Prince Frederik, the son of Prince Robert and Princess Julie, passed away on March 1st at the age of 22 after a struggle with a rare genetic condition called PolG mitochondrial disease.

Honestly, Frederik *is* my superhero, and everyone in my family feels the same way! So many of our friends think so too. And now, with his PolG Foundation, it’s like he’s becoming a hero to people all over the world! It’s not just what he *does*, it’s *how* he does it – he just has this incredible ability to inspire you, to make you want to be a better person just by watching him. He truly leads by example, and it’s amazing.

 

Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, reached a legal settlement with News Group Newspapers – the company behind both *The Sun* and the now-closed *News of the World* – on January 22nd. He had sued the organization in 2019, claiming that journalists and investigators working for its newspapers illegally obtained information about the royal family.

According to NBC News, the settlement involved the company paying a significant amount in damages and offering Harry a complete and sincere apology. They also publicly admitted to the widespread and harmful coverage that invaded both his privacy and the privacy of his mother, Princess Diana.

I’m so happy to share some wonderful news! Princess Catherine announced today that she’s in remission after completing her cancer treatment. It’s such a relief and a testament to her strength and the incredible care she received. Sending her and her family all my best wishes as she continues to recover.

She announced on X (formerly Twitter) on January 14th that her cancer is in remission and she’s concentrating on getting better. She added that, like anyone facing a cancer diagnosis, she’s still adjusting to life after it.

She added that she’s optimistic about the year ahead and excited for what’s to come.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, is grieving the loss of her rescue beagle, whom she adopted in 2015, before she met Prince Harry.

On January 7th, she shared a heartfelt message on Instagram about feeling overwhelmed with sadness. She described crying so much that she’d often try to wash away her tears in the shower, hoping to numb the pain or pretend it wasn’t there. But she acknowledged that even feeling that pain was okay.

Meghan shared a heartfelt message, saying, “Thank you, my sweet Guy, for loving me so completely all these years. You brought so much joy to my life.”

 

Edward Pettifer, the stepson of Prince William and Prince Harry’s former nanny, Tiggy Legge-Bourke (also known as Alexandra Pettifer), was killed in the New Orleans terrorist attack on New Year’s Day.

Prince William and Catherine were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Ed Pettifer. In a message posted on Kate Middleton’s Instagram on January 4th, Prince William said their thoughts are with the Pettifer family and everyone affected by this terrible tragedy.

Okay, so you will NOT believe this! Meghan Markle – yes, *the* Meghan, from *Suits* – finally joined Instagram! I’ve been waiting *forever*! Remember how she basically disappeared from social media right before marrying Prince Harry? Well, she launched her own account on January 1st, and honestly, I nearly screamed. It’s a dream come true!

The next day, she revealed a new Netflix series called *With Love, Meghan*. A press release described it as a fresh take on lifestyle shows, combining helpful tips and honest chats with both familiar and new friends.

In June 2025, Prince William and Kate Middleton made a rare public appearance with their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, at Wimbledon.

The family shared on Instagram how happy they were to be back at Wimbledon for the Championships finals this weekend. They congratulated Iga Świątek and Jannik Sinner on their victories and thanked everyone who helped make the tournament such a great event.
