The Mask Limited Edition 4K Blu-ray Is Now 42% Cheaper

After releasing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Trilogy in 4K last month, Arrow Video is giving another ’90s classic a modern upgrade: Jim Carrey’s 1994 film, *The Mask*. True to form, Arrow Video is doing a complete overhaul, restoring the film in 4K from the original camera negative with the director, Chuck Russell’s, approval. The release will also include new bonus content and collectible extras.

You can now pre-order for $35 on Amazon, which is 42% off the original price. It will be released on November 11th. It originally cost $59.99 when it became available earlier this month, but anyone who already pre-ordered will automatically receive the discounted price.

The 4K restoration of *The Mask* will feature stunning visuals with Dolby Vision (and work with HDR10), plus high-quality audio including the original DTS-HD MA 5.1 track, lossless stereo, and a new Dolby Atmos mix. The release will also include special packaging with a reversible sleeve featuring two cover art choices, a collector’s booklet with illustrations, a double-sided poster, and six art cards.

This new Blu-ray release of *The Mask* in 4K includes previously available extras like director Chuck Russell’s commentary, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and deleted scenes. But this edition also boasts several brand-new features and improved technical specifications.

Jim Carrey became a huge star in 1994 thanks to three blockbuster movies: *Ace Ventura: Pet Detective*, *The Mask*, and *Dumb & Dumber*. The newly remastered *Ace Ventura* is now available on 4K Blu-ray at Amazon and Walmart. While *Dumb & Dumber* isn’t yet available in 4K, with all the renewed interest in these classic Jim Carrey films, an upgrade is likely coming soon.
