While it was expected Marvel would eventually show off the Wolverine game again, the new, action-packed reveal seems to have been a big hit with PlayStation 5 fans.
As of today, the trailer has already received an incredible 3.6 million views on the official PlayStation YouTube channel, and it’s only been online for about 13 hours. It has also gained 320,000 likes.
I was checking out Push Square, and they actually ran a poll after the new trailer dropped to see what everyone thought of the PS5 exclusive. It’s cool to see what other fans are thinking!
More than 900 people have shared their opinions, and the response is overwhelmingly positive. Forty percent said they are extremely excited about the game, while another 43% think it looks very promising.
The vast majority of viewers seem excited about the trailer, with only a small percentage – 12% – wanting to see more. A combined 5% expressed disappointment or said they weren’t interested at all, which is a very positive sign.
We’ve always believed the PS5 has plenty of games – we certainly have a huge list of ones to play! – but we understand why some people feel it lacks enough games that are *only* available on PlayStation.
PlayStation Studios have been developing games for years, but we haven’t seen many results yet. This console generation has been a bit unusual, so a big, story-driven game like Marvel’s Wolverine is precisely what a lot of fans are hoping for.
Now that we’ve gotten another look at Marvel’s Wolverine, what are your first impressions? Does it seem like the PlayStation 5 exclusive you’ve been hoping for? Please keep the discussion civil in the comments!
