I went to a Hollywood party with a lot of cameras and press, and someone was there who had recently faced cancellation threats,” Glen explained on the September 25th episode of Jake Shane’s ‘Therapuss’ podcast.

I was so excited to meet him because he’d directed some of my favorite films. When he approached and introduced himself, I immediately told him how much I admired his work.

A photographer asked to take a picture of the man with the celebrity, but the man didn’t share the celebrity’s name.

The celeb had “clearly clocked” his hesitation, Glen admitted, but stood by his decision. 

He told Jake, “I noticed people really reacted badly to this man – it was like they could sense he was trouble. It’s clear he’s made a poor decision, and it’s affecting how others see him.”

Glen likened the actor’s situation to that of his character, Russ Holiday from ‘Chad Powers.’ Russ tries to rebuild his reputation by joining a new team under a different name after a public failure at a football championship.

Glen explained that Russ Holliday is simply someone who made an error in judgment and isn’t a malicious person. He also expressed a harsh opinion about others who face public backlash, suggesting they deserve the consequences they receive.
