Kylie Jenner is dusting off her teal crown.
Kylie Jenner, known as “King Kylie,” is bringing back some of her original makeup products. It’s been over ten years since she first introduced this bolder side of herself, and now she’s relaunching fan favorites from her early Kylie Cosmetics line.
Kylie Jenner celebrated a milestone with her fans, writing on Instagram on October 12th, “This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!!” She explained that her fans made her biggest beauty dreams a reality and expressed gratitude for their support over the past 10 years, sharing a photo of herself in sparkling blue-black with a matching crown.
As many of you know, I’ve always loved the early 2000s – that teal and playful vibe just really resonates with me! But this new collection isn’t just about my personal taste. I’ve been hearing from so many of you asking for a ‘King Kylie’ comeback, and it honestly inspired me! You reminded me of that fearless, ambitious girl I was at 17, and I wanted to bring that energy back to life. It’s a nod to that era and a thank you for all your incredible support!
She went on to say she was thrilled to finally share what everyone had been anticipating. She expressed heartfelt gratitude for their support throughout the process, hoping the new collection would bring them as much joy as they’ve given her. The King Kylie Collection will be available starting October 18th.
This launch is a throwback to when Kylie Cosmetics first started in 2015. Kylie originally created the brand after years of perfecting her signature lip look. The new collection features the return of her metallic lip glosses, the King Kylie eyeshadow palette, and her famously popular lip kits, available in four shades.
I’m so excited about Kylie’s new collection! It all started on October 11th when she shared some fan comments about how much everyone loved the brand’s original, edgy vibe back in 2022. Then, the next day, she really got us hyped by dropping this super cool video of her character walking into a police station – it’s giving major vibes, and I can’t wait to see what’s next, especially now that she’s with Timothée Chalamet!
Her complete makeup look instantly brought to mind her signature King Kylie style, featuring defined brows, strong contouring, and a bold streak of teal blue in her hair—a color she frequently sported at the time.
Kylie is looking forward to dyeing her hair blue again, but her daughter, Stormi, doesn’t seem to love the look. Stormi actually reacted with surprise when she first saw her mom’s bright new hairstyle back in June.
In a TikTok video, Stormi noticed Kylie’s hair and asked, “Did you dye your hair in that photo?” Kylie responded, “No, it was a wig. Mommy used to love wearing colorful wigs.”
Stormi playfully protested, saying, “A blue wig and a red outfit? That doesn’t match!”
