Sony revealed the games coming to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium in October 2025, with the highly-rated Silent Hill 2 as a major highlight.
You can download the software starting Tuesday, October 21st. The update includes the following features for all users.
They are:
New PS Plus Extra Games: October 2025
- Silent Hill 2 (PS5) | Review
- Until Dawn (PS5) | Review
- As Dusk Falls (PS5, PS4) | Review
- V Rising (PS5) | Review
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon (PS5, PS4) | Review
- Poppy Playtime: Chapter 1 (PS5, PS4)
- Wizard with a Gun (PS5) | Review
New PS Plus Premium Games: October 2025
- Tekken 3 (PS1)
With both Silent Hill 2 and Until Dawn releasing this month, it’s shaping up to be an excellent October for horror fans.
The first version, created by Bloober Team, is excellent and well-regarded. The second version is more of an update than a fresh take, but it’s still a really enjoyable game.
We also want to mention Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which is the first game in the popular SEGA series to use turn-based combat. If you’re new to the Yakuza games, this is a fantastic one to begin with – you might just become a fan!
It’s a bit of a letdown that PlayStation Plus Premium is only adding one new game this time. There was some talk about Tomb Raider: Anniversary being included, but it doesn’t appear in the latest announcement.
Tekken 3 remains a classic fighting game, but because it’s an older Bandai Namco title, it probably won’t have PlayStation Trophies, which might make it a little less appealing to some players.
