Eminem Is Dating His Stylist Katrina Malota

Eminem is not afraid to date someone he works with.

Sources say the 53-year-old rapper is dating Katrina Malota, who styles his hair.

Katrina, originally from Michigan like Eminem, has been a stylist and makeup artist for 15 years. She’s worked with many famous people, including Eminem, who she considers a local talent, as well as Snoop Dogg, Robin Thicke, and 50 Cent, according to her website.

Eminem’s most recent public relationship was with his former wife, Kimberly Scott, who he first dated in the 1990s. They had a complicated relationship with periods of being together and apart, and eventually divorced for good in 2006. They share three children: Alaina, 32, Hailie, 29, and Stevie, 23. Although Eminem hasn’t been publicly linked to anyone romantically for almost twenty years, he’s remained dedicated to being a father.

Alaina shared with *People* magazine in June 2023 that she couldn’t have done any of it without her father, adding that she feels incredibly grateful.

Naturally, he was the one who gave her away at the wedding. As she explained, “He wouldn’t have missed it for the world.”

In a recent interview with *People* magazine, she explained that she now understands the difficult position her father was in – he wanted to shield their family from unwanted attention, but also wanted to share his pride in his children and their accomplishments.

The host of *Just a Little Shady* is now taking a similar approach, making sure his children are visible but protected from unwanted public attention.

She explained that finding the right mix of sharing and keeping things private is key, and that becoming a parent has made this balance even more crucial for her.

She explained that it’s a matter of striking the right balance between sharing your life and keeping things private. Becoming a parent has made finding that balance even more crucial for her.

Kimberly Ann Scott, originally from Michigan, was Eminem’s high school girlfriend. They had a daughter, Hailie Jade, in 1995.

Kim and the rapper were married on and off between 1999 and 2006. Their difficult relationship has been featured in several of his songs, such as ’97 Bonnie & Clyde,’ ‘Puke,’ and ‘Bad Husband.’

Kim described a recurring cycle in her relationship, explaining in a 2007 interview with *20/20* that they typically had a good period lasting about two years, followed by difficulties. She felt they hadn’t yet reached that two-year mark and didn’t want to push things forward prematurely.

However, Kim noted that Eminem has always been an “excellent” father.

“He loves the kids very much,” she shared. “He’s always lending a helping hand.”

Eminem and Kim had their daughter, Hailie, on December 25, 1995. The rapper has said that her birth motivated him to get his life on track.

In 2001, Eminem told *Q* magazine that everything he was working on was to secure his daughter Hailie’s future, specifically to pay for her college education.

Growing up, she lived primarily at Eminem’s large home in the Detroit area. She later went on to study psychology at Michigan State University, where she met her future husband, Evan McClintock. The couple got engaged in 2023 and married in May 2024.

During a 2020 conversation with Mike Tyson on his podcast, Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson, Eminem shared that his daughter, Hailie Jade, had graduated college with a 3.9 GPA. He added, “She’s made me proud for sure.”

In October 2024, Hailie announced her pregnancy with her and Evan’s first child, a baby boy.

Born on Feb. 22, 1993, Alaina is the daughter of Kim’s sister Dawn Scott. 

In the early 2000s, Eminem took legal custody of his niece because her mother was battling addiction. He explained to Rolling Stone in 2004 that he had full custody of his niece and shared custody of his daughter, Hailie. He’d always been a constant presence in Hailie’s life, and his niece had been raised alongside her, living with him and Kim wherever they were.

Alaina Marie Mathers, who was primarily raised by Eminem, considers him a father figure and asked him to walk her down the aisle at her wedding to Matt Moeller in June 2023.

After the wedding, where Hailie was her Maid of Honor, she told *People* magazine, “He wouldn’t have missed it for the world! I’m so grateful to my dad – none of this would have happened without him.”

Her mother passed away in 2016 at the age of 41.

Kim and her boyfriend at the time, Eric Hartter, had Stevie on April 16, 2002. Eminem later legally adopted Stevie in 2005, after he and Kim got back together.

In August 2021, Stevie publicly shared that they are nonbinary and use all pronouns, revealing this information in a TikTok video.

They added in the caption, “forever growing and changing.”

Born in 1955 at a military base in Kansas, Debbie is the mother of Eminem.

Eminem later said he regretted making his family problems public. In his 2013 song “Headlights,” he admitted he hadn’t considered the impact of his words, rapping, “I didn’t think about who I hurt with what I said, and my mom probably suffered the most.”
