Kylie Jenner Slams Accusations She’s “Obsessed” With Her Younger Self

Kylie Jenner’s opinion is king.

Kylie Jenner responded to criticism from a social media user who disapproved of her posts celebrating the 10-year anniversary of her makeup brand, which she started when she was a teenager.

One user commented on Kylie’s Instagram post, writing, “I don’t understand why you’re so focused on your younger self, lol.”

In response, Kylie reasoned that her early accomplishments were worthy of being recognized.

She explained her excitement, saying Kylie Jenner built her own successful cosmetics company, @kyliecosmetics, and is worthy of recognition after ten years as a major influence. She ended with enthusiastic praise, saying, “Bye! I’m completely obsessed with her!”

Earlier this month, Kylie Jenner revealed she’s bringing back her “King Kylie” persona and some of her original makeup products. These include metallic lip glosses, the King Kylie eyeshadow palette, and her famous lip kits. Jenner shares two children, 7-year-old Stormi and 3-year-old Aire, with her ex, Travis Scott.

In an Instagram post on October 12th, Kylie celebrated her fans, saying, “This King Kylie Collection is all for you!” She explained that their support made her biggest beauty dreams a reality and that she wouldn’t be where she is today without them, even after 10 years.

Kylie shared that she wanted to give her fans something they’d been hoping for, as a thank you for their support.

She added, with genuine gratitude, “Thank you for sharing this experience with me. I truly hope this collection brings you as much joy as you’ve given me.”

Kylie, currently dating Timothée Chalamet, is exploring her past as a musician. She recently contributed vocals to the new song “Fourth Strike” by the band Terror Jr., marking her first official venture into music.

She shared on Instagram that she was incredibly nervous but also thankful for her time recording. She gave a shout-out to @thacarterb for connecting her with a fantastic team – @bschoudel, @kshmr, and @jbach – and expressed her gratitude to @makeupbyariel for their support and love.
